Author: my characters are not dead. This is the closest picture I could find that resembles the story. Sorta. If you have a better picture for this chapter, put the link or photo in the comments or my home page thingy. Also, I'm running out of ideas so if you have any and would like to share them with me, leave them in the comments.

I ran behind the deactivated robots and Grey Mann followed me. For an old man, he runs remarkably fast. I kept turning left, right and even double backing a bit to throw Grey Mann off. He kept up with me. But as the chase went on, he started to show his age. Once I believed Grey Mann had lost me in the maze of robots, I ran to the first floor of Blu base. I locked myself in a closet for Blu Pyro saw me running. I slammed myself against the door, panting heavily. The closet was dark, small, and narrow. I couldn't see anything. All I could hear is my breathes and my heartbeat thumping loudly.
"Great. Just great. Grey Mann has a crap ton of robots at his disposal, my wrists are probably gonna get infected, and I still haven't found me team yet. Speaking of which, where's Engie? I kinda left him on the roof." I thought to myself. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness so that I can find something to fight with or a way out. There was a small vent in the ceiling but it was way out of my reach. I decided to give it a shot. I don't want to have something that'll force me to jump because that'll make noise. Then again, building my way up to the vent will make noise too. I decided to climb up the shelves to get to the vent. It was easy to get up there but unscrewing the screws on the vent was hard using only my hands. I was able to stand to the two shelves while unscrewing since the shelves were so close together. I popped the vent screen off and dust fell on my face making me cough. I placed the dead bug covered screen on top of the shelf and climb in. While doing so, one of the shelves fell making a huge mess as well as a crash that could be heard through out the base.
"Shit, this bad." I thought to myself. I crawled as fast as I could to leave that place and hopefully lost my pursuers. I found a ramp upwards and I put one of my feet on the sides of the vent and the other foot and my hands on the floor. I inched my way up and I heard grunting and soft clanging against the metal. Someone's following me. I tried to speed up my climb but given in the position I was in, it's next to impossible. Once I reached the top, the vent screen that I lifted up when I first entered was right where I left it. I got out and slammed it shut right in Blu Soldiers face.
"I have to get out of here." I muttered to myself. I hopped off the Blu Base and ran to the Red Base. I went to the workshop to get a dispenser to heal me, and there was a person here that really surprised me.

It was Engie. What's more, is that he pretended that nothing ever happened.
"Why are you here?" I asked him pretty damn annoyed.
"I got scared." Engie replied.
"You're so weird." I told him rolling my eyes. "Anyway, can you get out a dispenser? My wrists are cut." I asked showing Engie the cuts. He took out a dispenser and let it heal my wrists.
"Look, Engie, we really need to get the team back together. Just the two of us isn't going to work against how many mercs and robots?" I told Engie after a while of silence.
"Do you know where they are?" Engine asks me.
"I'm not sure but I think they're all in the Blu base." I replied.
"How is the Blu base laid out?" Engie asks.
"Almost exactly like ours. Why do you ask?" I asked him.
"Because I have an idea of how we're going to get the team back."
