Emma
My name is Emma Soden, and I am the queen of Central High School. Many people think I self-identify myself as queen, but I know they're just jealous of me. Entering my Sophomore year, I am president of the celibacy club. There was this one girl who was president before me, but she just suddenly died from being drunk or something. Anyways, the position was handed to me and everything in this school is better than it was before. I have minions, as every queen should have. When I am around, their names are Emma 2, 3, 4, and 5. They can use their other names when I'm not around, I don't care.
Emma 2 (Clare) is the smartest of the 4 minions. She does my homework and tells me everything I need to know on the test. I've made sure that she has every class before me so she could tell me everything I need to know for the upcoming period.
Emma 3 (Elise) is the most athletic of the 4. She works out for me and diets for me. If I feel like dieting, I make sure she doesn't eat anything so I can diet. When I (rarely) need to shave a few pounds, I make sure she works out for me for at least 7 hours a day.
Emma 4 (Nora) makes sure my public figure is in great shape. I command her to take endless photos of me to post for my fans. I have 50K followers and counting. I make sure Nora hacks into the voting polls when elections come to make sure I have a great chance at being elected.
And last and probably least is Emma 5 (Grace). She, just like me, loves to act and sing and dance and be all show business like. Of course, I must get the lead; however, I let Grace be in the background. I just need someone to undermine the competition for me.
What these four Emma's have is each a small part of what I truly have. I really am the smartest, most athletic, famous, and talented person at this school.
People call me a bitch but I honestly just don't care. They're talking about me, and that's all that really matters.
The celibacy club gets their own mansion that can house like, 50 people, but 5 people is still too much. I'm on my way to becoming valedictorian and president of everything. Life is just super duper!

New year, new me.
I have repeated that for the last 5 hours. I remember my freshman year so vividly. Awkward, so awkward. However, my presidency in choir and the school newspaper landed me my own private dorm room. People think it's weird to like two things. You can only be one type of person... unless you're Emma Soden. Damn Emma Soden. Valedictorian in our class, lead in productions, queen of everything, and apparently great at sports.
The celibacy club was this weird cult centuries ago that evolved into something massive at Central. Every person wants to join it, but no one can get into it. You seriously need to be the best at something to be in the club.
But enough about that drama, I'm a sophomore now! While I'm standing in my dorm, I see my wall decorations and smile. All my published articles. I jump into my bed and sigh.

I look out the window as my Dad drives me to the high school. I'm a transferring sophomore, and excited yet nervous. It took me a year to convince him to let me join this school. Finally, I'm here. I look at my Dad and he starts to cry.
"Your mother would've been so proud." He says.
"Dad, Mom is the reason why I wanna go here. She was so happy here."
My mother died about 14 years ago. I wasn't even one at the time. All I had of her was a ring that she wore right before she passed.
"I know, hun. She was."
