Narrator: What does the word family mean to you? Are they just people you live with? Or are they people who would risk everything for you?

This chapter is going to mainly focus on how Ceta adapts to Asia's family.

Asia's P.O.V.

Things just can't get any better. Ceta and I are putting the girls in groups of four's and having them discuss their feelings. Afterwards they get to make gifts for each other as a way of forgiving and compromising. Then after we get to watch "Scared Beyond Straight".

"Here's your gift!" Ceta said running up to me.

What was it? I'm not even sure... But it's the thought that counts.

"Thanks." I smiled looking at the present, before placing it in my pocket.

"Someone's here to see you?" Boss lady said to us.

"Who?"

"Your parents!"

"Omg." I said as I saw them walking up to us hand in hand.

This truly is a Christmas miracle. Don't cry... Be strong.

"How's my little soldier?" Dad said pinching my nose.

I love when he does that. But I wonder if they even know why I'm here. Somethings are better left unsaid.

*Smiles*

"And who is this?" Mother said.

"This is my friend Ceta. She's actually a really good friend of mine."

"Oh that's nice." Mother said quietly.

I know that look she's giving me.

"Your probably wondering why I'm introducing her to you mom and dad."

*Both responding*

"Yes."

*Exhales*

"I was hoping maybe we could adopt her." I said closings both eyes. "She has no family and if we don't then she will be sent to another foster home and you always say treat others the ways you want to be treated. That's exactly what I'm doing. If I were in her place I would be so thankful."

*Silence*

They must be thinking of all the possibilities.

"Okay we've decided." Mother spoke with her hands locked into dad's.

"It's a yes!" Dad said.

"Thank you so much." Ceta said wiping tears away and giving both of my parents a "bear hug".

"Whoa your pretty strong!" Mother said suprised by Ceta height.

"I bench 270!" She laughed.

"Really?" We all asked.

"No it's actually 300, but I didn't want to scare you."

*Laughing and leaving*

"I'm sure you guys are hungry what should we go eat?"

"Chinese food!" Ceta said point five seconds before I could.

"Sounds good." Dad nodded.
