warily (adv) meaning; Cautiously or with great care.

"Are you going to age with grace?"

Funny, how sometimes you want to curl in as tiny as you can, so you can be as small as you feel, and other times, you want to stretch out, and claim the whole bed as your own. [ I literally had this thought while laying in bed, and quickly wrote it down in my journal, specifically for this book.]

Just a random thought at 3:01 AM.

I warily glance over to my sister, Danielle.

She looks so at peace when she sleeps.

It almost makes me forget everything we've been through.

Everything she was to small to remember.

Everything that is quite literally making me go insane.

The only thing keeping me is not so little Danielle.

I worry about her and that new friend of hers.

Daphne.

She smokes and parties and is homeless.

I can't imagine Mom and Dad liking that too well.

Ha, they wouldn't have liked it at all if they were still alive.

I wish Danielle could see how hard I struggle for the both of us in so many aspects of life.

But she's just a teenager.

She hasn't had the time for appreciation and things like that.

My mouth forms a tiny smile as I curl my body around her baby journal, as if that'd keep her safe.

Maybe one day, this could save her life.

That thought comforts me, as I fall asleep.
