They let me out.
They let me out.
They let me out.
They saw me showing emotions.
They saw me show intelligence.
I am rising above the ashes.
But, I am moved from one prison to another.
I am moving into an apartment with Danielle.
And h i m.
He visits me often, but I find I can't move.
I can't speak.
The best I can do is breath.
And wait for Danielle to come back.
But, one day, he looks me in the eyes.
And he kisses me.
I feel odious.
But, I also feel alive.
He is like a pretty new set of pink lungs.
He is like the oxygen itself.
And yet, he is also the cancer that consumes me.
He is the smoke that burns me.
And, I can't help but try to love him.
