Your POV

Luke had called me earlier, saying that he wanted to just "Netflix and chill" and before I could even protest about the double meaning of those words, he assured me we were actually going to only watch a couple of movies and cuddle.

That's how I ended up walking to his house in my jeans and jacket, a messy bun on the top of my hair, with zero make up.

I rang the bell and waited for a moment or two as I heard faded loud talking coming from the house.

Footsteps came closer to the front door as I thought what could be that noise.

The door flings open and Luke appears with a beer in his hand. "Hey, come in." A lazy smile is plastered on his face.

I step into the house and walk towards the living room, noticing that the talking is getting louder. I scrunch up my eyebrows in confusion as I look behind, to see Luke following me, and shoot him a questionable glance, as if asking "What is going on?".

Once I enter the room, I see three boys - they seem like Luke's age - sat on the sofa, yelling at the TV screen.

"Guys, guys!" Luke raises his voice to grab their attention. The three boys turn their heads towards us.

"This is (y/n), she's a friend." Luke introduces me to them.

'A friend.' ouch.

I smile politely at them and nod, then turn to Luke.

"Can we talk for one minute?" I quietly ask him.

He mumbles a "yeah, sure." and places his hand on my back. I shrug his hand off me and he looks at me with confusion in his eyes.

Same, Luke same.

We get into his room and close the door.

"Why did you invite me over?" I get straight to the point, call me salty, but that's how I am.

He furrows his brows. "What do you mean?"

"You clearly have friends over, you guys surely wanna have an only-guys-night, why did you call me?" I say.

"They came over after I called you, I didn't wanna cancel right away. Why does it matter so much?" He asks.

Oh.

"Right, right, it doesn't matter, maybe you wanted a friends-night, cause I'm only your friend, right, so that's why we're all here, right." I fake a smile whereas he has no hint of smile on his face.

I'm not angry because he wants to spend time with his friends. Not at all. I'm angry cause I thought we were gonna have a nice silent quiet night in. And I don't like people who change plans at the very last moment.

"What are you even talking about?" he scrunches up his face.

"Nothing, nothing, I'm gonna go, okay, you have fun with them." I quickly turn around, but he grabs my hand and pulls me into him.

"Don't go." he whispers as he looks into my eyes. "You're not just a friend."

"Something tells me I'm only that to you." i say as quietly as him.

Our faces are millimetres apart and I can feel his breath hitting my face.

"Well you're wrong."

"Prove it."

That was all it took him to close the gap and place his lips on mine. I respond almost immediately, moving my hands through his hair.

Luke moves his arms under my thighs. "Jump." he mumbles against my lips.

I do what he says, and wrap my legs around his waist, as he starts moving towards his desk.

He sits me down on the table, and stands between my legs, running his hands up and down my thighs. His lips are that one candy that's so delicious but you know you're not supposed to eat it, but you do it anyway.

He pulls away after a few minutes, our breaths heavy.

"Now do you believe me when I say that you're not just a friend?" His eyes are half closed and his lips are red and chapped.

"Yes." I whisper.

"Okay, now let's go, I want you to properly meet them." he helps me get down on the floor from the desk.

"They're kinda assholes, but give them a chance, they're not bad people." Luke says as he keeps twirling my hair with his fingers. "I don't want my best mates and my potential girlfriend to be fighting"

"Potential girlfriend?" I raise my eyebrows and wear a playful smirk.

"Yea." he says shyly.

I gently grab his face and make him look in my eyes. "I like potential girlfriend." With a light shrug of my shoulders I peck his lips one more time.

"Okay, let's go." I take his hand and we go downstairs.

I like potential girlfriend.
