It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and the birds sang the loveliest of songs. Kohlra was out picking berries and nuts as her children were at school and her husband, Goku, watched the youngest of the bunch. When she returned home, she set the baskets of food on the table. She looked around for her husband, but he was nowhere to be found. Neither were her children.

"Maybe he let Piccolo take care of them while he went off to train? I guess some things never change."

She flew over to the wastelands where Piccolo resided. He sat at the edge of a mountain, most likely meditating. The female Saiyan landed only a few feet from the Namekian, a smile plastered on her face.

"Hi Piccolo."

He opened his eyes and got to his feet looking at her.

"Hello Kohlra. What brings you here?"

"Have you seen Kakarot and the kids? He's not home and neither are they."

"No, sorry. Perhaps he took them to Bulma or something. If he's not there, try checking King Kai's planet."

"Ok then," she mentally sighed, "Thanks."

Without another word, she continued her search for her husband. She went to Capsule Corp to see if the children were with Bulma or Vegeta. As she walked inside, she hear the screaming of the human girl she had befriended years ago. Kohlra sighed and walked toward the sound. Bulma was in the kitchen with pots and pans all over the floor. She stood atop the kitchen counter and continued to scream.

"Kill it! Kill it!" she yelled and pointed to the floor.

A cockroach crawled from under one of the pans. That's what all this fuss was about? A little bug? But Kohlra could understand. She has a phobia of those creatures as well as others. She too screamed and jumped next to Bulma. Finally, Vegeta had arrived at the scene looking quite upset.

"What the hell is wrong with you two!?"

"Kill that bastard! Kill it!" Bulma pointed to the bug again.

The prince sighed and stepped on it, crushing and killing it. The two girls calmed down, both sighing in relief. Kohlra gave a nervous smile as Bulma stepped off the counter.

"Thanks Vegeta."

"Yeah, thanks Veggie."

"Whatever. What are you even doing here Kohlra? Aren't you supposed to be home with Kakarot?"

"Oh yeah," she said remembering why she came over, "Kakarot and the kids aren't home and I'm looking for them. Piccolo said he either dropped them off here or took them with him to King Kai."

"Well they aren't here. He only came over to borrow a few things." Bulma said.

Great. Her husband took her infant children to a great deity's planet while he's training. She placed two fingers to her forehead as she waved goodbye and teleported to King Kai's.

King Kai jumped back in surprised as Kohlra appeared in front of him. She looked at the person whom had trained her beloved. This was King Kai? He doesn't look like much. Then again, you can never judge a book by its cover.

"What the hell!? Who are you!? How did you find this place!?" the blue deity screamed.

"Oh! Forgive my rudeness. I'm Kohlra, Kakarot's wife." she replied with a smile.

"Goku's wife? That can't be. Isn't that Chi Chi?" he looked at her in disbelief.

"Well, Chi Chi sorta kinda died..."

"I see, so he married you?"

"Yes. Now then..."

She turned around to see Goku throwing punches and kicks in the air while the children played with a monkey and a bug. She lowly growled at the scene.

"KAKAROT! HOW DARE YOU TAKE OUR KIDS TO A PLACE LIKE THIS!?"

The Saiyan jumped back in surprise. He chuckled nervously as she growled. The young ones looked at their mother and giggled. The female sighed and picked up her offspring as she frowned at her husband.

"Next time you want to go to King Kai's while I'm searching for food, wait until I come home."

"S-Sorry Kohlra-chan."

She gave a smile and kissed his lips. He returned the gesture and put his arm around her waist putting two fingers on his head.

"Sorry about this King Kai. It won't happen again." Goku smiled.

"It better not! Your wife stepped all over the food!"

She glared at the deity and growled barring her fangs. He gulped nervously and Goku mentally sighed. Kohlra didn't like anyone yelling at him. She was super protective. The family left without another word. Kohlra put the children to bed and walked into the kitchen where her husband sat.

"Why were you at King Kai's?" Kohlra asked.

"I wanted to train." he replied somewhat blankly.

She examined the Saiyan. He sounds so monotone, so plain. He isn't smiling either. What's going on? This isn't the Goku she fell in love with. She sat beside him placing a hand on his shoulder with a worried expression.

"I'm fine Kohlra. Don't worry about me." he smiled at her.

Kohlra knew better though. That was the same tactic she used whenever she was upset. Something was wrong with him, and she wanted to find out what.

"Maybe you should get some sleep... You were up all night taking care of Peppa..."

"I'm fine."

"Please..."

"I said I'm fine."

"Ok ok. But, please just do it...for me?"

He looked at her with a blank expression before sighing and heading towards their room. She sighed as well as the door close and rested her head on the table.
"Kakarot's been like this for awhile. He's... He's not well and I want to help him but he won't let me... I wish I knew what's wrong... I don't like seeing him upset."

Kohlra felt a pain in her stomach. It was the twins, kicking. A small, but weak, smile snuck onto her face. They're suppose to be born in a few months. But what about Goku? He's not well and the twins are coming soon. What was she to do? The smile began to fade and depression took over her frame of mind. She quickly ran out into the forest. Once again, the memories of her mistakes appeared in her thoughts.
