Chapter Two: Internal Struggles

Zeref disappeared.

"Zeref! Where are you? Explain yourself! Zeref!"

Natsu cried out, searching for the Black Wizard, his brother, who was no longer within earshot.

'Damn, I gotta warn everyone about this, otherwise this could be bad. But what do I say about him calling me brother?'

Natsu struggled internally, not knowing what to do.

"For now I gotta find somebody, I'll just continue my search for Mira until then. Mira! Where are you?"

Natsu turned and saw one of the Demon Gates.

'Crap gotta hide, can't let them see me yet.'

As soon as Natsu went to take cover, he changed that thought and rushed out.

'Lucy and Wendy are over there, I can feel it.'

Natsu's nose was correct, as per usual.

"Natsu!" Lucy and Wendy called out to him in unison.

And the one confronting them, was Franmalth, an Etherious.

"Wendy, get out of here! Destroy Face! If you don't, then all magic will be destroyed."

"Arigato Natsu-san"

We watched Wendy fly off with Carla until we couldn't see her anymore.

"Alright Lucy, lets take care of him."

(Skipping a couple minutes ahead so we don't get to in-depth with all the battle scenes.)

"Damn, this guy can steal magic? I've defeated Hades before, I'm sure I can do it again."

"Amaterasu 100 Formula Magic Circle"

Hades, or should I say Franmalth, casts the spell like Natsu eating fire...let's say 'very simply'.

"This guy really stole Hades' magic didn't he?" Lucy asked out of frustration.

'I know what'll work...'

Natsu started to take in Fire and some other substance from nowhere at all.

"Raienyū no Hōkō!!"

(Lightning Flame Dragon's Roar)

Natsu engulfed Franmalth in Lightning and Fire, surely defeating the demon in the process.

"Natsu you did it!" Lucy exclaimed from his right.

"Yeah I did."

However, something in Natsu's tone bothered Lucy; something was putting him on edge, a secret that he would have to keep from the nakama he's known all his life.
