They felt like flying.

Still cant see anything.

Luke feels the Journal disappear from his hand.

Finally when they feel a little safe they open their eyes, and realized they were at the portal again, the big, purple portal.

They looked at each other and felt relief.

As they got to end of the portal.

They are now lying in the ground, sleepy, and tired.

"Pick them up, pick them up." said Thomas.

"Is there something wrong?" more voices.

"Luke, Luke wake up. Why did this happen, is this machine working?" asked Thomas.

"Wha?... I.. Uhh.. What happened."

"You two jumped in, and like five minutes after you came back. Is everything okay?"

Maya and Luke looked at each other and smiled.

"Can you do me a favor?" asked Maya "Look at the telescope, keep an eye on the meteor."

One of the employees ran to the telescope.

"Sir, it's not visible. The meteor is gone?" she asked.

"What? Luke. Talk to me. What happened."

"We did it Thomas, we stopped the meteor, not in five minutes, but you can't explain time can you? Exactly."

Thomas smiled and a round of applause was the last thing he heard before blacking out."

11:12a.m. Next morning.

"Good morning little hero." a soft voice said.

"Mom?" Luke said opening his eyes.

She smiled.

"I made you a nice breakfast, let's go downstairs." she said smiling ear to ear.

They got down and his dad gave him a huge hug.

"Ohhhhh! I'm so proud of you!" he said.

"Dad, it's no big deal."

"NO BIG DEAL? We would all be dead if it wasn't because of you."

"And Maya. By the way, where is she, is she okay?" Luke asked.

"Yes, she's still sleeping, we called her mom earlier to check on her." she said.

"Oh, also, NASA left this envelope on the mail. It's says that they are paying you and Maya for what you guys did." he said.

"They are??"

"Yeah, open it."

Luke grabs the envelope and reads.

"Holy crap... That's a lot of numbers."
