Abandoned Ruins

10:00 a.m

Luke and Maya woke up. They smell something good, it was like chocolate. They went to the kitchen and they saw Rocky cooking some kind of dessert.

"Rocky? What are you doing?" asked Maya.

"Oh Good Morning you guys, I'm making breakfast!" said Rocky very happy.

"But that's chocolate, you can't eat something sweet in the morning." said Luke confused.

"Really? Aren't you guys updated? Chocolate is a very good fuel to start the day, doctors said it like in 2046. You guys still live in the past" said Rocky. Luke and Maya where laugh in sarcastically.

They ate the chocolate and packed up everything.

"Sorry Rocky, we have to go, we have a long way to go." said Luke.

"Agh really? Well I understand, but.. What I don't understand is, what is that long walk you have to take?" asked Rocky.

"Well, umm.. This is what happens." they told them the story of the past, the meteor, and all that stuff.

"Oh my gosh! You guys are from the past, wow I have soooo many questions now, but all I'll say is that if you want to go to the spaceships, you should go to the north. But you have a very very long walk to do." said Rocky.

"Yeah.. And where leaving now so, thank you so much, it was awesome being here, thanks for the food, the sleep and everything." said Maya.

"Don't worry, you better go now before too late." said Rocky smiling and Luke smiled too.

They got out of the hole and starting walking to the north. They walked like for 45 minutes and then, they saw a huge city made of stone, but it was abandoned, it had buildings, not so tall as the ones from Pixel City but, they where big and made of a beige rock.

"Wow! Look at this, this is huge!" said Luke.

"Hello? Someone?" yelled Maya.

No answer.

"Is there someone, a human?" yelled Luke "Looks like we're alone."

"Wow, this place is beautiful, but, why is it like.. abandoned?" asked Maya.

"I don't know." answered Luke and suddenly an irritate sound echoed in the ruins.

"What was that?" asked Maya very worried and then the sound echoed again.

"Maya, stay with me" said Luke.

Maya tossed Luke a dagger. They where back to back. With their daggers pointing to the darkness.

"The sound comes from that place." said Maya pointing to a big palace.

"Then let's go there." said Luke and Maya nodded.

They where inside the palace, it was huge and dark, both of them where shaking. The sound echoed every room. They got to the biggest room and saw a throne, with a skeleton siting on it.

"Look Maya, looks like the king loved this place." said Luke joking.

"But, this place is empty, where did the sounds come from?" asked Maya.

"I don't know, but let's go." said Luke and then the sound echoed louder than ever. Luke and Maya plugged their ears. They turned back and saw a creature, it was weird, but it wasn't just one creature, there where 3 monsters. The same monsters that Rocky was talking about.

It had 12 eyes, 8 tentacles, fangs out of his mouth and big claws.

"WIIIIRRKTHZZXX" yelled the monsters and started running toward Luke and Maya.

"LUKE! PREPARE!" yelled Maya.

Luke and Maya dodge them and starting pointing them with the daggers. The monsters almost killed them. They stabbed them with the daggers but it wasn't working. Maya stabbed one of them in the eye and the monster lied down on the ground, bleeding blue blood.

"Luke! In the eye! Stab him in the eye!" yelled Maya.

Luke stabbed him in the eye to his death, and the other monster flew away from them.

"Wow! That was close!" said Maya.

"AND FREAKING AWESOME!" yelled Luke.

"WHAT? We almost died!" said Maya with a little smile. "Let's get out of here."

"But where are we going now?" asked Luke.

"I don't know, Rocky said to the north so.. let's walk to the north." said Maya and started walking.
