Spaceture: The Rock of Future

"So, we have to travel to another city?!" asked Maya.

"It looks like, but right now we have a bigger problem." said Luke.

"What is it?" asked Maya.

"The lady mentioned another city right?" asked Luke.

"Yes, Tecgrill City." answered Maya.

"That's not in this map, it's another city and this map is from this city, not from the country." said Luke a little worried.

"Well that's a problem, we'll have to ask everyone around here and maybe look for another map." said Maya worried too.

Luke was searching for something in the map.

"What are you doing?" asked Maya.

"Looking for a library here in the city." answered Luke.

"Luke, we're in 2078 they don't use books anymore." said Maya.

"But we can go the Padstery, it looks like a library, wanna go there?" asked Luke.

"Um.. Okay let's go" said Maya.

They started walking through the big streets and saw so many great things, big technological parks, flying cars, huge buildings and more stuff.

They arrived to the Padstery and opened the door. It was an amazing place, there where a lot of kids playing, jumping and some adults, people looking for things in hologram-computers and iPads and more. There where bookshelves but instead of books it had iPads.

"Ohh! So that's why they call it Padstery, instead of books they have iPads and those weird hologram-computers." said Luke.

"So we just have to go to one of those iPadshelves or to those hologram-computers and search for a map of the country?" asked Maya.

"Probably, let's go." said Luke.

They took an iPad from the shelve and searched for maps, they where searching and searching for hours, they didn't even know if one map was correct or if the other one was incorrect, they don't live in future.

"I don't know what we're doing!" said Maya.

"Do you think I do?" said Luke "We better ask someone for directions or a map."

"While we where on our way here I saw a little store that was called Maps." said Maya.

"Really! Why in the world you didn't tell me!!" he was yelling but he was laughing too.

"I don't know, but we're wasting time, let's go there!" said Maya.

They arrived to Maps. It was an old place, it was dark, just a little light bulb was turned on, and there where things from 2015, they felt like they where in the present, but, THEIR present. They saw an old man sitting in a desk and reading a paper.

"Look Maya, he's using a paper, not an iPad. Do you think he's from the present?" whispered Luke.

"I'm not from the present" said the old man.

They both where surprised.

"I just have all these things to remember the good life" said the man.

"What do you mean with good life? This is the future, this is awesome!" said Luke.

"Maybe it is, but it's not what you guys think. Back in 2016 life was good, no creatures that kill people, no guards that kill people too." said the man.

"What? But we haven't seen that." said Maya starting to worry.

"What do you know, you've been here only for 3 hours, you can't talk about an entire country just being in it for 3 damn hours." said the man.

"Wait? How do you know that?" asked Luke confused.

"I can see that you two are here to get something important, but you have a long trip to get it, you'll need this" said the man while extending his hand to them with a paper on the hand.

Luke took it, it was map of the whole country, everything was so clear, it a little dusty but he could see everything very clear, both of them where happy to find that map and that weird man.

"And what's your name?" asked Maya.

"I can't tell you that know, it won't be good." said the man.

"And how do you really know that we have a big work to do and that we've been here for 3 hours?" asked Luke.

"I can't say that either. But what I can do is help you guys, take this."

He extended his hand again to give them a little iPad, it wasn't like the other ones, this one was small and very thin.

"That is one my most important possessions, it says what are you about to explore, and what you'll need, and also what you need to know. Be very very careful with it, it's magical, well.. for me, just.. take a good care of it." said the man and then he walked to the bottom of the store and disappeared in the dark.

"Why would he give this to us?" asked Maya to Luke.

"I really want to know but, let's appreciate that he gave it to us, I think that would help a lot!" said Luke as they walked out of the store.

When they got out, it was almost 7:00, they turned on the little tablet, it said "Digital Journal" and it had a few options with the name of 6 cities.

"Hmm.. Look!" said Maya pointing to an option that said "Pixel City".

Luke touched that option and a lot of thing appeared, it looked like a newspaper, it had a lot of information.

"Look for a little hotel, we need someplace to sleep tonight." said Maya.

"Right, um.. You like this one?" asked Luke while pointing to an option that said "Hotel Sasageè, 4 star hotel".

"Let's go to that one" said Maya smiling.

They went to the hotel, paid the room and then in floor 17 they opened the door and they saw an amazing room, it was beautiful, and the price was very cheap for that amazing chamber. They both took turns to take a shower and then they watched a little bit of TV and later Maya closed her eyes and Luke was getting everything ready for tomorrow.
