Spaceture: The Rock of Future

The Journey Begins

8:30 a.m

Maya wakes up, she sees the watch on her nightstand and her engines start waking up. A few minutes later Luke wakes up and sees Maya is already awak, she's reading the Digital Journal.

"Maya, what are you doing?" asked Luke while he yawned.

"I'm reading stuff about this city and it's outskirts, you really need to read this!" said Maya while giving the tablet to Luke.

It said:

Pixel City

A big city full of people and weird things. This city was called ClarkBound before the president changed the name to Pixel City, after the impact of technology in this city, it changed forever, it wasn't the same city we all knew as ClarckBound, I know it has a lot of amazing things but it also has a dark side, a very very dark side. The priority of this city is to keep the citizens safe, so that's why they built a big wall all around the entire city to keep the creatures out of it. But they built guard-robots to stop the robbers and delinquents, but one day those robots had a little problem in their mind, and from that very moment they just killed someone when it did something wrong, they pulled their head off their body.

The Gobernment destroyed those robots, and when they did that, all the robbers felt free to do anything, and they became stronger, so the crime in this city is as big as it actually is the city. I tried to run out of the city but those big walls didn't let me, but I founded the way to get out of it.

Outskirts.

To get out of the city, you'll need a rope first and a dagger, then when you get to the big wall you throw the rope and climb it to the top. Then you have to take the rope so nobody notices that you left, then spike the rope with the dagger and then climb down the other side.

Be careful, there are horrible things out there, monsters that I can't really explain. But I only have a word for you.

"Wow, we need a dagger and a rope" said Luke smiling to Maya and she smiled back.

"I have a few daggers in my backpack, so we just need the rope." said Maya.

They packed up everything they needed and left the hotel and started walking to the East, they entered a little Store and bought two ropes and one more dagger.

Then they arrived the big wall, it was very tall and grey, made of pure stone, but it wasn't a normal type of stone, it was a rare one, an indestructible one. They threw the rope and climbed it up, at the top, a really really loud alarm sounded it the city, red lights everywhere and guards with mechanic horses where getting close to the big wall.

"You two get down, right now!!" said a guard with a megaphone.

Luke was so nervous he jumped out of the wall without the rope.

"LUUKKEEEE!!" yelled Maya.

"AAAAHHHH!" screamed Luke and then he felt water, he landed on a little pond. "Don't worry, I'm fine!" yelled Luke to Maya.

Maya sighted. Then she spiked the rope with the dagger and climbed down ignoring the guards that where yelling. She got down, she felt the grass, it was a beautiful feeling but then she heard a gunshot behind her. The guards.

"Come on let's get out of here!" said Maya to Luke realizing that they passed the big wall and left the guards behind them.

They walked like for 1 hour, and then they stopped for a while. Where are we now?" asked Luke to Maya.

"We passed the big wall like an hour ago so, we are.." she took the tablet and searched "We're in the Sully Forest." said Maya confused.

"Sully Forest?" said Luke.

"Yep, and we better hurry before the sun hides, I don't wanna be in the forest at night, remember all those weird creatures that the old man was talking about." said Maya.

"Okay.. Let's continue walking." said Luke.

6:00 p.m

"Gosh! It's 6:00 it's almost night and we haven't gotten out of this freaking forest!" said Luke and then he kicked a rock.

"Ouch! The rock yelled.

Luke and Maya where shocked and then Maya screamed.

"SHHH! Stop yelling please, you'll wake up the monsters!" said the rock while he was standing up. He was small and had two arms and two feet, it was like a human-rock. "You two guys are lost right?" asked the rock.

"Maybe, maybe not, what do you want from us!" yelled Maya so scared.

"Girl calm down, I'm not going to hurt you, I just saw your faces and noticed that you guys where lost in this huge forest." said the rock. "My name is Rocky."

"Wow, that's pretty original" said Luke sarcastically and then Maya slapped him in the back nervously.

The sun was already hidden, night is here, and it has company.

"Oh no! The moon is up, come on, come to my house." pointing to a hole in the ground.

"Oh no no no.. I'm not going there!" said Maya.

"Maya, just enter to the hole" whispered Luke in Maya's ear.

"Urghh!"

Maya went down the hole and then Luke did, and later Rocky too and he covered the hole with leaves and dirt.

Rocky's house was beautiful to be underground, walls covered in paint, a dinning room, a little studio with a little tv and a little kitchen on the corner.

"You guys can sleep here" said Rocky pointing to two little beds.

"Mhm.. They look comfy and nice" said Luke.

"I have some food here, if you guys want some." said Rocky.

They went to the dinning room and saw a big plate of spaguetti. Luke was licking his lips and Maya's belly was saying "Give me some of that, give me, give me, give me...".

"Thank you, this looks delicious." said Luke while having a seat on a little table "I have a question, who are those monsters you where talking about?"

"Oh.. Out there, a lot of creatures exist, things that you can't imagine. Monsters with big teeth and big claws." said Rocky.

"What!?" said Maya worried.

"I really don't like them, I just saw one of them in my whole life, it was one night I saw him from the distance and he looked at me, he was purple and had like 10 eyes, big fangs that where out of his mouth, and big big claws that could kill someone in 1 second. He also has like 6 feets and he screams very scary. It's a weird sound. I don't want to talk about it anymore." said Rocky leaving the table. After that, they ate and then everybody went to sleep.
