Chapter 7: A Negotiation With Mr. McFist

Megan's POV

I ran to the McFist Industries as fast as I can. But I was interrupted by a robo ape that blocked my way.

"State your purpose." The robo ape stated as he held out his hand to stop in my position. "Scanning subject" A beam of light shot from its eyes and it scanned me from head to toe. "Subject unidentified. Leave the premises immediately and please file an appointment before returning tomorrow." The robo ape as he continued to dismiss me. I was in so much hurry. I don't have much time. I need to meet him right now. In my frustration, my eyes flashed red and voice went deep in anger.

"Take me to Hannibal McFist if you want your life to be spared" I said with a dark tone and a terrifying expression.

"Okay. Okay. Alright. I'll take you in. Please just don't kill me" the robo ape pleaded onto his knees.

"Good enough..." I said coldly as the robo ape hesistated to lead me to McFist's office.

"Mr. McFist, someone is here to talk to you." The robo ape stated.

"Ugh! Who is it now?!" McFist groaned angrily. "It's already past closing time. Tell him or her to go home and come back tomorrow!!!" He exclaimed in distress.

"I won't hesitate to burn down this building of yours if you won't treat me well, Mr. Mcfist." I said, looking him into his eyes with a mighty burning rage.

"Gah! Are you the client he's talking about?" He asked, sheepishly.

"Yes, yes I am" I said, darkly.

"Oh... Please take a seat. Have a cookie and please state your name and your problem." He said, nervously. I regained my normal form and sat down politely.

"Thank you, Mr. Hanninbal McFist. Sorry for my rude intrusion awhile ago. I am still quite coping up with this kind of environment." I said and smiled

"Oh, it's fine. Really" he replied,  anxiously wiping off the sweat from his forehead.

"Well, My name is Lady Megan Victoria Phoenix. I'm the 43rd heir of the Land of Phoenix at Flackville. I'm here for a negotiation." I said, politely.

"Pardon me, but I thought the Phoenix has no longer live. The sorcerer said it was just a myth." He said. I heard someone coughed.

"Hannibal, you know shouldn't speak about him" A guy with a purple glasses and a lab coat said.

"And you must be Sir Williem Viceroy III, am I right?" I asked,  glancing at him.

"Yes but how did you know me?" Viceroy asked

"Well, you're the inventor of all the things here in Norrisville and the top notcher at the Mad Science Academy.  Not to mention,  you're the greatest scientist ever to life the world.  I've heard so much about you, Sir Viceroy" I said

"Finally someone noticed my hard work. Girl, you and I are gonna be best buds." Viceroy said.

"Quiet now. Viceroy" McFist yelled at him. "Now, what negotiation are you talking about?"

"I know you had a deal with the Sorcerer. I also had a deal with him too. I am sent by the Sorcerer to do the same thing. To kill the ninja. Now, you want the ninja right? We can work together to get the ninja." I said

"So, do you even have a plan on how to do that?" Viceroy asked.

"Yes indeed." I said.

"Well, spit out then." McFist said,  grumpily

"They said the only weakness of a man is a girl. So-"

"Are you even sure that the ninja is a guy?" Viceroy asked once again
