"Dawn. Dawnn. Daawnnnn," I heard Blake whispering to me, trying to shake me awake.

"Ugh, but I love sleep," I groaned.

"Yeah, I know, but you're going home today! Remember, home? Where Franklin is, and out of this place!"

"You're right," I said, sitting up, thinking about how much I hate hospitals.

"Not so fast there, Dawn," a familiar doctor said, walking in.

"Dr. Rose!"

"Hey there, darling," she said with a smile.

"You work in this hospital?"

"Yes, sometimes. And you can be sure I'll be here to deliver your babies!"

"Oh thank you so much," I said as I got up to hug her.

"Now, here are your clothes, darling. Let's go sign you out!"

"I'll just go change," I told her and Blake as I headed for the bathroom with my clothes. I dressed quickly, and ran a comb from the bathroom through my messy hair, and brushed my teeth. After checking myself out with the mirror, and deciding I was fine without makeup, I stepped outside to my hospital room. Dr. Rose and Blake were having a conversation, and stopped to look at me when I walked in.

"Oh dear! I'm so happy to see that you and Blake are together. He's explained everything to me," Dr. Rose said to me cheerfully. Blake sat in a chair next to her and started blushing.

"Oh Blake! You're too adorable," I said to him as I walked over to hug him. I signed myself out, and Blake pushed me out of the hospital in a wheelchair, as this is a required thing to do once you're released from the hospital.

"Let's take you home," Blake said, as he started the car, and pulled out of the parking lot. The whole way back, Blake seemed edgy, and excited, as if he couldn't wait for me to get home.

"Blake are you okay?" I asked as we pulled into my driveway.

"I'm fine," he answered quickly, with a large smile.

"Really, because you look like you can't sit still for any longer," I laughed, reaching for the door handle.

"No!" he yelled, stopping me.

"What?"

"Allow me," he said as he jumped out and ran to my door. I looked at him through the window and gave him a skeptical look as he opened the door.

"Blake, are you okay?"

"I'm perfect," he said, leading me to my house, "let's go to your room," he suggested as we walked in.

"Sure," I said as we headed to my room. He opened my door, and I almost fell over.

"Oh Blake," I said putting my hand over my mouth. In my room was a black crib in the corner. There were baby items everywhere. Some were blue, others were pink, and purple.

"I did this while you were in the hospital. I thought it would be a nice surprise for when you got home," he said, blushing.

"I love it!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms around his neck.

"Since we don't know the gender, I just bought a few boy things, and a few girl things."

"Thank you, this means so much."

"I hoped you would like it," he whispered, then leaned in to kiss me. I returned the kiss.

"Dawn!" I heard my mother yell. Blake and I separated, clearly surprised as I was. I ran to the kitchen where I heard her voice.

"Mom?" I asked when I saw her.

"Oh, Dawn!" I'm so sorry. I should have told you about Theo. I wanted to tell you sooner, but you're never home. I haven't been able to apologize for over a year. But now I have some big news to tell you," she explained, hugging me, "is that a baby crib in your room?" she asked, being able to see it from the kitchen.

I froze.

"I.. Uh.."

"Dawn? Answer me," she demanded.

"I.. I'm pregnant mom," I whispered, looking away. Blake walked up behind me, and I felt him put his shoulder on my shoulder. My mothers eyes filled with tears. She turned and ran upstairs to her bedroom.

"Blake, please go stay in my room. I need to talk to her," I sighed.

"Alright, I'll be there," he said, giving me a hug before turning to my bedroom. I went to the stairs, and stood at the bottom before making my way up. I looked at all the pictures hanging on the walls. They were mostly pictures of my mom and I. I never went upstairs, so I had never really seen these pictures. I stopped when I reached the top. There was a small, grainy picture, in a broken frame, with broken glass. I leaned in to get a better look at who was in it. saw a very young version of my mom, sitting in a hospital bed, holding a baby. There was also a man standing next to her, his smile much larger than hers, looking at me, instead of the camera, but I could still see his face. I took the frame apart to read the back. Mom liked to label and date all of her pictures. Turning it over, it read:

'Ryan and I with our new baby girl, Dawn!'

Written below that was a date. My birthdate to be exact.

'October 31st, 1995'

I turned it back over to see the man again.

That's my father..

"Is there a right way for how this goes? You got your friends and you got your foes."

I heard my mother sang Rodger Rabbit, by Sleeping With Sirens, softly from her room. I quickly stuffed the small picture into my back pocket, and quietly went to her doorway. The door was cracked so I peaked my head in without her noticing. She was sitting on her large bed that she rarely uses, looking out her window.

"They all want a piece of something hot. Forget your name like they forgot," I sang softly, continuing the song. She turned around, surprised. I could see tears falling down her face.

"Oh, Dawn, I didn't know you were up here," she said lightly.

"Oh mom," I said, running up, sitting next to her, and putting my arm around her shoulders.

"I'm so sorry, Dawn. I'm a failure as a mother. I should have been here more for you," she sobbed into her hands.

"Mom, no it isn't your fault. I made the mistake myself. I'm the one that should be sorry."

"Is it.. Is it Blake's?" she asked, hesitantly.

"No, it's not," I whispered as I looked away.

"But, then who's the father?" she asked, shocked.

"Tyler Moore. He's a boy at school."

"It okay baby," she said, hugging me.

"I'm so stupid mom," I said, crying.

"Shhh, it's okay. It's all going to be okay," she said, rocking me, "uh, I have some big news."

"What is it?" I sniffled.

"Well," she began, "I'm pregnant," she finished with a smile. A smile crept onto my face. I felt overjoyed.

"You are?!" I asked excitedly, jumping up off the bed.

"Yes! Yes I am! I found out last week. Now I'm about 3 months along.

"Oh, mom I'm about 2 months!" I said gleefully.

"Oh yippee baby! They can be friends!"

"Oh, there's one more thing," I said shyly.

"What is it, darling?"

"I'm having twins," I said with a smile.
