"Come on, we're here. We can't back down," Blake said, trying to persuade me out of the car.

"I have a bad feeling about this," I said.

"It's okay, your mom and I are here. You and the babies are safe," he said, holding his hand out for me. I hesitantly took it, and he helped me out from the car. He held my hand all the way to the door, and never let go. I looked over to my mom, and she pressed the doorbell. I heard a faint 'Ding-dong' and a large dog barking at the door. Suddenly, the door was pulled open, and a woman appeared.

"Can I help you?" She asked?

"We're here for Tyler," Blake said.

"Tyler!" She screamed into the house. She stood in the doorway for a minute, "come on in, I'll go down and get him," she sighed, letting us in.

"Thank you," my mother said, and the woman led us to a living room area.

"Make yourselves at home," she said kindly, as she walked off to go find Tyler.

I could hear blaring music from what sounds like the basement. It must be Tyler's room.

I was looking around the small room when I heard the loud music come to a stop. There was faint yelling, and what I believe to be a smack. There were light footsteps coming up the stairs, followed my heavier ones. The woman came into the room, soon flowed by Tyler.

"The fuck do you want?" He looked at me in disgust, stopping in his tracks. The woman, who I now believe to be his mom, began to walk away.

"Just a minute," my mom said. His mom stopped and turned around. She had a large red mark on her cheek, "are you his mother?"

She nodded.

"You may want to stay," my mom said to her.

She moved to the single recliner chair in the corner and sat down.

"Now, my name is Denise, and this is my daughter Dawn, and this is Blake," my mom introduced us.

"I'm Abigail, and this is Tyler," Tyler's mom mumbled.

"My daughter is pregnant. And there is only one possible father," my mom stated, looking at Tyler.

"Not with this shit again," Tyler yelled.

"Tyler! Did you sleep with her?" His mother demanded.

"No mom, just look at her. She's a freak."

That stung.

"Tyler! I'm done with your bullshit!" She screamed. He looked terrified.

"Mom-"

"No! When that baby is born, you're taking a paternity test!" She screamed.

"Babies," I corrected her.

Abigail and Tyler just stopped and stared at me.

"I'm having twins."

"Dammit Tyler," Abigail said.

"I don't know how I feel about him being involved with them," I said quietly, putting my hands over my tummy.

"Why not?" Abigail asked.

"His reaction when I told him they were his."

"This isn't the first time he's been told of this is it?" Abigail asked behind clenched teeth.

"No, I told him at school. He doesn't want them anyways." I explained.

"I can understand that, but life for those babies without a father?"

"I don't have one, and the babies and I have Blake," I stated, reaching for his hand.

"Will she be demanding child support?" Abigail asked my mom.

"I don't know, that's her decision, not any of ours. And that would be his responsibility, not yours, his." My mom stated, giving him a look so intense, he had to look away.

"If I refuse to pay?" Tyler asked smugly, crossing his arms.

"Not a good idea," mom said.

"And why is that?" Tyler asked.

"Because my boyfriends brother is a lawyer. And he's pretty damn good," my mom said as she stood up, leaving the house, and giving Blake and I no other choice but to follow her out.

I followed Blake and my mom into the car. She looked very angry.

"Mom-"

"You tell me the second he refuses to pay for those babies," my mother turned in her seat and yelled at me. I shrunk back into my seat and put my seatbelt on. She turned back around and turned the car on, and drove us back to the house.
