The Wish That Changed Everything

Chapter 3

(Monday)

I'm still in the hospital, I say I'm still in the hospital because it's been like a in and out thing sometimes I stay home sometimes I stay here, but today I have my x-rays done to see if the tumor is removeable and if it is then we will have to set up a date to remove it, if it's not, then I might not even live to be 25. So right now I'm excited and nervous, but here goes nothing.

*after x-rays*

The x-rays are done and should have results by Tuesday. I keep praying in hopes that it can be removed, so now I'm just sitting in my room waiting for my dad to arrive with his, "surprise" but until then I have to entertain myself. I look around my room for something to do, unfortunately I'm here til we get the results so I don't really have anything here except my laptop, phone,and some clothes, yeah not that exciting.

Bored out of my mind, I get up from my bed and look my window, as I was looking out upon the landscape I noticed a park not that far from the hospital. I quickly get up and call a nurse to my room, within a few minutes my nurse, Alison, came to my room.

"Hello Sophie, what can I do for you?" She asked.

"Yeah, do you think I could go to that park over there." I say pointing out to the park

"Oh you mean Pine Tree Park?" She questioned.

"Yeah, can we go please, I just want to get out of this room for a little." I begged

"Well do you think you're up for the trip?" She questioned again

"Yes, yes I am. Can we go?" I asked excited

"Yeah we can go, get dressed and call me back, then we can go." She smiled

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, ok I'm going to get dressed."

"Ok, call me back when you're ready to go." She said walking out of the room.

"Ok, thanks Alison." I yelled out to her.

After Alison left the room I got dressed in a
AC/DC shirt and some skinny jeans I put my hair in a bun and throw on my vans, I know I'm so fancy, after that I called Alison back to my room.

"You ready to go?" She asked as she walked into my room.

"Yeah let's go." I jumped up from my bed and raced to the door.

We finally got to the park, fortunately there wasn't a lot of people around just a few teenage girls and some couples.

"I'm going to go sit down and read a little, just try to stay within my sight, okay?" Alison says

"Ok, thanks again Alison."

"No problem sweetheart."

I was peacefully swinging on the swings at the little playground, when I heard some girls screaming, me being me I got curious and started walking towards the screams, I looked back to make sure I could still see Alison, when I turned back around I was knocked down by someone running.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry um here let me help you." He said helping me up.

"Sorry, I should have looked where I was going." The mystery man apologized again.

"It's ok, no harm don-"
I was cut off by someone yelling.

"Michael we got to go, come on." Someone yelled to a Michael somewhere.

"Sorry for knocking you over but I've gotta go bye." The gu- Michael said, as he ran off to catch up with his friends.

Well that was weird, anyways I walked back over to Allison ready to go back to the hospital. I think my dad should be there soon.
