The Wish That Changed Everything

Chapter 4

Michael's POV*

"Guyyyys I'm bored. Can you go somewhere?" I whine, as I was sitting on the couch next to Calum 

"That's a first. I never know that Michael could be bored." Calum said sarcastically: still looking at his phone, causing me hit him in the arm.

"Ow what was that for." He yelped, giving me that look of "what the hell man"

"For being annoying." I said.

"Says the guy, whining about going somewhere." He mumbled going back to, whatever he is doing, on his phone.

"Yeah, well can we go somewhere?" I asked again. 

"I think I saw a park near by. Want to go there?" Luke asked

"Yeah, let's go" I said already putting my shoes on.

"Ok I'll tell Ashton." Luke said, as he disappeared to the back of the bus.

After a few minutes of waiting for the guys, we finally made our way to the park, as we were walking two girls were walking our way. I hope there aren't fans, I love our fans but I don't what to be mobbed.

We were just hanging around, then we heard some screaming I turn around to see a group of girls, and a few boys, running our way.

"Guys we gotta go. Go go go." I said loudly as we started running off toward the bus. We were running for a while now, I look behind me for second to see if anyone was still following us, I turn back around to run right into someone knocking them over.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry um here let me help you." I helped her back up

"Sorry I should have looked where I was going." I apologized again.

"It's ok, no harm don-"
She was cut off by Calum yelling.

"Michael we got to go come on." Calum yelled to me.

"Sorry for knocking you over, but I've gotta go bye." I said running off to the guys, with that we were gone. We finally made it back to the bus without a stop. Once we all were safely on the bus Calum asked me.

"Bro why did you stop back there?" He questioned, out of breath from running.

"I knocked someone over." I breathed.

"Of course you did." Luke laughed.

"Was it a fan?" Ashton asked.

"I don't think so, she did look like she knew who I was, or yelled in my face." I said taking a set on the couch.

"Well, at least we are on the bus," luke stated. 

*Sophia's POV*

Alison and I finally made it back to the hospital alive, I just jumped into bed and just layed there when I heard someone walk in.

"Hello." I greeted, as I stood up to see my dad hiding something behind his back.

"Hey flower, how are you?"  He asked.

"I'm good, what's that you got there?" I asked in a weird accent.

"Oh nothing, just a present for my daughter." He joked.

"Well can your daughter have it?" I played along.

"Yes she can." He said handing me a little box wrapped in flower printed paper. I rip the paper off to a jewelry bow, I slowly open the box to find a gold heart necklace with S.M. engraved on it.

"I love it dad, thank you so much." I said as I hugged the life out of him.

"Soph there's more. It's a locket." He said taking it out of the box to show me. "see there's me and mom, so wherever you are we are alway with you." He said opening the locket, to show a picture of mom and dad, when we traveled to melbourne to see some family.

"Thank you so much dad, it's beautiful." I cried as I hugged my dad again.  

"Do you want to put it on?" I nodded and held up my hair, as my dad clipped it on.

"Thank you dad." I cried as I hugged him. (so much hugging)

"Anything for you sweetheart. I love you so much."

(Tuesday)

Today's the day of the results of the x-rays. I'm so scared, I just hope that the tumor hasn't spread. My dad stayed, so he come be with me when we get the news. 

We were waiting for the doctor, as we were playing some gold fish, also known as go fish.

"Do you have any 2s?" I questioned.

"Gold fish."

"Do you have any 10s?"

"Gold fis-" I was cut off by a knock at the door.

"Come in." I said.

"Hello Sophia, Mr. Mars. How are you feeling?" Dr. Mills asked, looking down at his clipboard.

"I'm feeling good, how about you Sophie?" My dad jokes.

"I'm feeling dandy, thanks for asking." I laughed.

"That's good." Dr.mills laughed at are childish behavior. "Well I have the results here, and it looks like you are eligible to go through with the surgery." He smiled.

"That's great; When do you think the surgery will be held?" My dad asked.

"We can do it tomorrow night, if you would like, I can get the papers?" He asked.

"Sophie, do want to have the surgery tomorrow?" My dad asked. Hold up we just find out that i'm able to do the surgery we don't need to jump right into dates this is all happening so fast.well I guess sooner the better.

"The sooner the better, right?" I said in more of a question.

"Ok Mr. Mars, can you please follow me to sign some papers, we'll be right back Sophie."

"Ok" and with that they walk out.

I can't believe I'm having surgery, tomorrow night this is all slowly sinking in I hope that everything goes well.

I was thinking about the surgery tomorrow and suddenly felt tired, I laid down to soon be consumed by the darkness.
