I walked by Alea's side to homeroom through the busy corridors of high school. We have been the Queen Bee's ever since we became seniors, almost half a year ago. Jealous looks are shot at us as we slide down the hallway. As we sashayed into homeroom, we caught the stares of all the boys in the class. But just like Alea says, they're desperate. Keep calm and carry on.

"Hey Lea!" I hear Oliver holler.
Alea turns around and rolls her eyes at him. She was obviously falling for him.
"I told you to not call me that!" She teased.
Oliver slowly made his way up to her between the desks and sat on top of the desk she was sitting in. He was going to make a move, I could tell.
"Care to go to the basketball game with me tomorrow night? I hear it's gonna be a blast!" He offered.
Unsure of what to say, Alea mumbled: "I don't think I have any plans! I would love to!"
He got off of her desk, went onto one knee, took her hand and kissed it. He got up, winked at her and say back down. He was absolutely dreamy. His chestnut hair swept back, his hazel eyes, his perfect jawline and the way he smelled like cinnamon scones just made him the full package. A girl can dream.

After the day had flown by, Alea and I decided to go get apple cider since it was cold out today. We walked through the leafy paths on our way to our local coffee shop.
"You excited for your date tomorrow?" I asked.
"Stupidest question I've ever heard. Really Faye? Am I excited? Of course I'm excited! It's Oliver Gallow for goodness sake." She joked.
I chuckled and shook my head, and then she started to laugh.

Oh no. We have laughing fits all the time. When Alea starts to laugh, I start to laugh uncontrollably, and then we both end up on the floor laughing. So, I found a bench where we could both finish laughing like drunken old men. I leaned my head on her shoulder as we laughed, and then she buried her face into my knee long black jacket, still laughing hysterically. It took us five minutes, five minutes... To get control of ourselves. Afterwards, we stood up and brushed our matching jackets clean. I quickly fixed my hair so it was straight again, and we were off towards the coffee shop again. I opened up the door for both of us, and the scents of fall gushed into our faces. We closed our eyes and both inhaled the delicious air. We must have looked like drunken old men, just like we were on the bench. I opened my eyes, and to my surprise sat Oliver Gallow. Of all people in the world, Oliver Gallow.
