Lana's POV

After school detention was over, I saw my mom car pull up but Cameron was driving and Nash was in the passenger seat. I got in. "Why are you driving her car?" I asked. "She told us to pick you up because my mom and her are going to pick up your cousin and getting their dresses. " Nash said . "so how was detention you bad girl." Cameron asked. "Shut up." I laughed. We got to my house and I went to my room and changed into dance clothes. There was a knock on the door. Hayes came in . "hey were going to the dance studio today instead of it being in the backyard." Hayes said. I hated how awkward it is between us. "I remember giving you this on your birthday." He said, smiling holding it in his hand. It was a card. I smiled. "Originally that card I was going to tell you how I really felt." He told me. "Oh." I said. "Its been a really rough week with out you." He said . I ignored him. I didn't feel like talking to him. "Let's go." I said leaving my room.

We got to the dance studio and practiced the same dances from yesterday. After that we learned mines and Hayes dance. "Lana I need more eye contact." Amanda the instructor told me. We started from the top and I just kept my eyes locked with his. "Good now let's work more on your dancing instead of eye contact." She said. I looked around the room. Johnson gave me a sympathy look. Everyone was. "Hayes you need to work on your hands placement. " she said fixing his hands. We practiced and practiced . I kept trying to ignore the fact that I was staring right into his eyes . I tried to pay more attention to the music's lyrics trying to translate Spanish to English.

We finished the dance and we all took a break. "Hey kid." G said sitting next to me. "Hi." "You okay?" He asked giving my back a pat. I nodded and drank my water. "Its just hard you know." I said and he nodded. "Okay guys we have three more days to practice so you really need to step up your game." Amanda said. Practice was over and we got into cars to go to Taco Bell.

We all ordered and sat in the back. I smiled of the thought of Hayes and I always here in middle school. Every Tuesday and Friday we were here no matter what. If one of us didn't go to school we would take it to go and eat together. "Lana remember when you sat on Taylors lap?" Cameron laughed and I just gave him a look. "Hehe he had a boner." Shawn laughed. Everyone started laughing. "I have a boner ." I heard leslie say looking at shawn. I laughed because no one noticed. She looked at me and gave me a look. My phone started ringing. It was Matt facetiming me. I answered and he was shirtless. "Ooo." G said grabbing my phone. "Hit matty." G said really loud so everyone would look. "Stop give me my phone you piece of shit." I said. "I wanna talk to him." Cameron said grabbing my phone. They were all passing the phone around and when it got to hayes he hung up and tossed me my phone. I rolled my eyes and he shrugged. We all finished eating and went back home.

Hayes POV

Lana, her cousin and shawn went to sleep at Lanas house. The other girls went home and so did Luis.Everyone else came over and we decided to go outside to have a little bon fire. "Today was a great day." Nash said sitting down on a chair. Everyone agreed and said something about their day. "Yo someone put on some music." G said. They played some drake. Best thing I ever had came on. This was our song. If I never would have fucked up Lana would have been right by side singing along. They changed the song and I looked up. "You okay?" Nash asked me and I nodded. "I just fucking miss her." I said. "Its all my fault ." I said. I realized Nash wasn't listening. I went back inside and went to sleep in my room.

I'm going to be out of school for 3 weeks so expect so many updates I mean it. Sorry for taking so long to update I've been writing the second book. Vote comment for next chapter
