Chapter one part two

"We couldnt hear you Ava speak up, we may be supernatural but us pixies have the same hearing capacity of a human" Aiden joked with a roll of his eyes, Ava nodding in the background. but as I looked to Ethan and Jayden, i saw that they didnt need to be told again. Because they had enhanced hearing. They both heard what i said, they both heard it loud and clear. And they weren't pleased.  

"What do you mean he's suspended you?" i could feel the tears once again leak out as Ethan asked me that question, his anger was rolling off him in waves as his body shook slightly, his golden eyes burning brighter than before.  

"He, he basically said that i was doing too much work and that i needed a break" i didn't tell them the full truth, i kept the part of me not being sane enough to myself. I kept all the words that dug into my heart and i kept them to myself so that i didnt have to deal with it.  

"B-but hows our t-team going to function now. We're the elite hunters, the most high ranked hunters there are, is someone going to take your place?" ava asked innocently in a quiet voice.  

"NO!" jayden shouted and i looked to him to see his eyes bleed into red, he was more than angry, he was furious.  

"Calm down jayden, I'm coming back" i said to him desperately not liking the state he was in. He wasn't thinking clearly.  

"what do you mean coming back? your staying in the compound right? your staying with us right?" he leant towards me, searching my face and looking everywhere but my eyes, almost as if he didn't want to see the truth.  

I sighed and shook my head, holding his cheeks gently in my hands and rubbed them in a simple caress. It was funny, i swore that a couple of months back i thought i had feelings for Jayden.  

"He's not letting me stay, he's sending me to Ethan's world, the werewolf sanctum: Edon"

"I still can't believe your going through with this Aurora" Jayden told me as I continued to pack my bags. The rest of the group had remained silent since I told them everything that happened when I came back to the compound after my routine mission in Onire, the vampire sanctum. I left out the parts of me crying and my true thoughts of what I had to do. They only knew that I went on routine visits to report the situation of rogues and come back. They didn't know about what I truly did. What the meetings with the individual council was truly about. They will never know. 

I turned towards him and smiled gently "I won't be gone for long, it's only three months. And I'm sure the werewolf sanctum is nice, right Ethan?" He huffed before looking at me with his golden eyes that sparkled in the rooms dim lighting. His arms were still crossed on his chest.  

"Depends what part you go to" he said, and I could see his hands clenching slightly before he said "just hope you don't meet my family or mate" he spat out in disgust and turned away.  

For werewolves they have one person in their lives that are made for them, either their a werewolf or human, no other species had been paired with another species ever before. At least, I had never heard of it before. Ethan, before he came to the compound, lived with his family and brother in a pack of which he had yet to give a name. His life seemed kinda rough, with no mom and his dad constantly busy with taking care of the pack since he was a pack warrior, most of the household duties and problems were left up to him since he was the oldest. But other than that, everything was normal. He shifted when he was ten, and was trained to become a pack warrior, everything was as good as it could get until he reached thirteen, that was the age he had met his mate. There wasn't a specific age of where you could notice your mate. It was just an instant connection. And he felt that for a girl of which he never told us her name.
