Chapter fifteen

Transformation...

That time was the worst.

The worst pain ever.

Through my life of being what I was every time she took over pain would hit my body, I would over heat and I would try to fight it.

But that was worse.

The pain was not sharp and killing.

It was slow drawn out excruciating pain of which wracked my body in waves. My knees had buckled to the ground as a huge wave of crippling agony surged through my body. My hands clasping my head as I screamed. Fire spreading through my muscles and causing them to contort. Pandemonium struck the hearts of the packs. I could hear alpha shadow leading them inside. My friends were standing there, watching in shock whilst Ronan sent Titania inside for a cold cloth and sat down beside me, his hands resting on my face. Luckily wearing wooly gloves.

"Breath aurora breath, remember our training. You need to take control." He cooed and I tried to concerntrate and drag her in. But the overload of energy had sent her presence in my body into crippling agony. A thousand times worst then before.

The familiar coldness set into my veins and I cried out in whimpers begging for it to stop.

"What's going on? What's wrong with Aurora?!" I heard Jayden shout, a hiss vibrating from the back of his throat. Aiden and Ava were practically trying to calm the raging vampire and the destructive looking werewolf. I had never seen Ethan's eyes shine with so much gold in my time I had known him. And his teeth became jagged, breathing laboured and hard as his hands became paw like claws. My eyes began to blur.

"That's for her to explain later!" Ronan shouted. "Go inside the pack house and get some gloves, then come back and help me stop her from hurting herself" he commanded.

Footsteps came running towards me and Ronan growled as I screamed again. My throat becoming dry.

"You have no right here! It's your fault she lost control, you need to stay away alpha shadow" he growled deeply before I moaned.

Then silence washed over me.

And I was almost grateful.

Almost.

A crack resounded through the air before pain erupted in my back. I arched unnaturally, my shoulder blades bunching up and getting tighter in my back. I moaned and shifted, laying flat on my stomach as my lower spine slowly cracked, as if someone was tearing it off.

I screamed and bit my lip until it was bleeding profusely in my mouth. My lips chapped and my body aching so much. My inner demon was still screaming in anguish. Her energy flared again. Shooting pain through me and my back crumbled down. It felt as if I was shifting.

The pain was horrible.

After a few seconds hands grabbed my upper arms and my legs pinning me down whilst Ronan tried to calm me. Repeating that I needed to take deep breaths. But I knew none of it would have worked.

There are certain types of pain for everything.

The pain was excruciating, but I had seen that pain before, I had felt the pain before.
