What hurts the most

Hi! I'm back with another oneshot! This chapter was inspired by the song 'what hurts the most'. I was listening to this song when this little thingy popped in my head. Anyway, my brain was pretty much begging for me to write this. Anyways, I hope you like it.

(Lucy's Pov)

I laid in the hospital bed beside a beeping heart monitor. I had tears running down my face as I silently cried as remembered a painful memory.

I asked Natsu to come with me so I could talk to him. "Natsu, I just wanted to say..." I began. He cocked his eyebrows up. "What Luce?"

I can take a few tears now and then and now

"I-I" why couldn't I say it. He stared at me like he knew what j was going to say. He smiled. "Lu-"

"NATSU~"

My eyes widen. Lisanna. "Ne Natsu! Come and get a drink with me!" She said. She nodded. My heart shrank. "Just wait!" He said. Then he turned to me.

"What did you need to tell me?" Be asked softly. I shook my head. "Never mind." I said. He nodded and went back inside.

I walked to a nearby tree and leaned against it. The one time I was brave enough to asked him out, Lisanna had to bump in. I'll ask him later.

I started to walk back in. Then, I saw a sight that broke my heart.

Natsu and Lisanna.

Kissing.

Then again I pretend that I'm ok

It took all my strength not to break down right there. The whole guild was cheering. I just put on a fake smile. Soon, I walked over to Levy who was with Erza, Juvia and Mira

"Hey guys." I said.

What hurts the most

"I'm sorry Lu-chan." Levy said and rubbed my back. Mira looked like she was about to explode. She started to mumble something. I only heard something like "this cannot happen. NaLu must happen."

Was being so close.

Erza had her arms crossed. She didn't look very happy. "I hope your not too disturbed by them." She said. I shook my head. "It's fine. I didn't think that her would like be back anyway. He was with Lisanna way before I was even here." I said sadly. Mira stared at me. "Lucy. Your too nice." She grumbled. "I can't believe your giving up! Now my top ship of NaLu will never happen." She said sadly.

I have a little giggle to hide my sadness. This day couldn't get any worse can it?

Then, Natsu kissed her again.

Having so much to say.

I forced myself to stay away from him for the rest of the day.

It didn't get any better as the days went by.

And watching you walk away.
