Please enjoy this chapter and continue to leave comments! I absolutely love reading them and they are a big help! Also, if you haven't read The Last Hope please look into that as well. I am thinking of going back to it, what do you guys think?

(Galadriel's p.o.v)

I smiled at her. Finally the opportunity had come. I knew the tides would turn and anger would cloud forgiveness, but this was my chance and I wasn't going to waste it.

(Legolas p.o.v)

I leaned back against the cold stone wall. I was shocked my own father would do this to me. Even know it seemed like being king was more important than his own family. Why did I expect him to change? If he was like that with mother why would he be any different with Aranel?

(Aranel's p.o.v)

I waited for her response. I wasn't going to say anything. This time I decided I was going to listen. Then, if she crossed me I was going to do whatever is necessary.

"They were losing the battle. Too many men had died and Thranduil was desperate to help his father. So, he came to me. I decided to help him...on one condition."

I started shaking. It sounded all too familiar. My father popped into my head and what he used to tell me when I was a child: I had to be careful, I was born as light and people were going to use it to their advantage.

"It's a well-known prophecy that during the time of darkness, a single person would be sent with a gift."

"What is this gift?" I asked her.

"I cannot tell you. I cannot tell you anymore than you already know Aranel," Galadriel said with a mysterious grin.

"You must hate me for taking Mara but have you ever considered the reason?"

"Yes...you're crazy, diluted power hungry...the list goes on and on." I replied.

Galadriel tilted her head.

"If I had not taken her it would have been you. It seems as though in order to protect you Thranduil gave your daughter to me."

My mind went blank and her words began injecting thoughts into my head.

"You have a gift Aranel and so does your daughter."

"So what you're telling me is you took my daughter because of this gift?" I asked.

Galadriel seemed satisfied that I was beginning to learn what she knew. I had learned the truth.

"Whether she is gifted or not does not give you the right to ruin her life! You snatched her childhood away!"

"Ahh but I was given that right, by your own husband."

(Maraheil's p.o.v)

I had wondered where everyone had gone. Mother was missing and so was Lord Elrond. I ran through the halls looking for them. As I turned the corner I saw them leaving a room with a hooded figure. It looked up at me and I could see it was a woman. The same woman from my dream. I squinted my eyes and shook my head.

"Mother!" I called out.

The woman seemed to respond to my words by smiling but soon it was wiped away. I walked over to Galadriel wanting an explanation.

"Who is this?" I asked referring to the strange woman.

"I am a friend of Lord Elrond's. I came only to check on his health," she answered.

I turned and looked straight at her. A mirror, her aura, this feeling, she looked like she was me. I could feel some strange pull towards her.

"Yeah." I smiled "He has been eating a lot lately."

She giggled. It sounded so familiar. I grabbed my head. I suddenly started hearing voices.

"You had another nightmare?" A woman's voice asked.

"Come here and lay with us." A man answered.

I began to cry, trembling with fear.

"What's wrong Mara?"

"I'm scared" I said aloud.

I heard that same giggle.

"My dear, the only thing to be afraid of is....the tickle troll!"

I began laughing. I felt relieved and comforted.

My surroundings whipped back and Galadriel looked concern, the woman looked confused and Lord Elrond wanted to run away.

Eventually the woman left. I wondered when she would return.

(Aranel's p.o.v)

Seeing her gave me hope and the motivation I finally needed. I questioned listening to Galadriel but what she told was the truth. Maybe it was important for me to listen to my dreams. I knew what I had to do...find him....find Galdalf.

Lord Elrond helped me onto my horse and I raced into the forest. Last I heard he was a part of some fellowship.
