Chapter 1

I frowned and sighed as I lifted my glass of alcohol and downed the remains of it.  I can not believe that my now ex-boyfriend cheated on me with my sister. I am so sick of guys thinking that they can just waltz in my life and use me.

I signaled the bartener for a refill.

What did she have that I didn't? Why would Parker sleep with her? Thoughts continue to invade my mind, that I didn't notice someone take the empty seat next to me.

The bartender pushed a glass towards me before asking the person next to me what they drank.

I heard a deep husky voice speak to the bartender, requesting a beer. I glanced next to me and my eyes widened as I looked at him.

He had this dangerous, almost scary vibe about him.

His brown almost black hair was messy, but he pulled the messy look off pretty damn good. I couldn't see his face because he was facing the other direction, looking at two men playing pool.

As if he could sense me starring at the back of his head, he turned his head towards me.

As cliche as this is going to sound, he was the handsomest guy I have ever seen. He had a light brown tan to him. He had this green eyes that seemed to have some sort of conflict going on but as quick as the conflict came, it disappeared.

I looked from his eyes to his nose that had a little bump on the bridge of his nose. Probably had his nose broken before I thought. My eyes looked over his high cheekbones to his defined jaw with stuble on it. His pinkish color  lips were in a frown and looked as though they were requesting my lips to meet his.

He also had this little crescent moon shaped scar from his bottom left side lip going out to his cheek. It didn't look to deep but it assured me he had a dark mystery about him.

I must have been starring at his scar a little too long because a clearing of a throat made my eyes shoot from his lip to his green eyes. I immediately started to blush as I saw humor in his eyes.

His eyes were somewhat smiling as his lips pulled back into a smile.

Oh god.

If I thought his eyes and lips were sexy, his smile out won them by a long shot.

He was checking me out more than I was checking him out. His eyes traveling down my long brown hair and down. He spent a little more time than necessary looking at my chest before moving down to my exposed legs and heels. "See something you like?," he smirked at me.

If I could disappear right now I would.

I realized I looked like a complete idiot as I was checking him out. How long was I starring at him.

I've had three drinks tonight and I'm a little buzzed, maybe I can pull off flirting. "I.. I'm sorry," I grabbed my drink and lifted it to my lips before downing half of it. Okay, flirting is out of the question. I'm not drunk enough to flirt with this dark sexy stranger.

He chuckled and lifted the beer by the neck with two fingers and brought it to his lips. He put the bottle down and leaned in closer to me, putting his lips to my ear. "It's quite alright Cara." his deep voice rumbled.

He brought his hand up and rubbed my arm going all the way up to my hair before pushing it off my shoulder. His hand made contact with my shoulder making me shiver and break out in goosebumps. Strangely though, his hand was burning up making that spot burn.

I felt a jolt of something go through my body that made my toes curl as he said Cara. His touch made me want to jump him and take him right here, right now, in front of all these people.
