Alice's P.O.V

I felt like there was a big weight that kept jumping on me. "Wake up Alice! today your new brother moves in!!!" I then realised that the big weight was Cara jumping on my bed trying to wake me up....Wait a second! she said that my brother comes over today! I immediately ran out of my bed and went into the bathroom to take a shower and wash my hair. Everything has to be perfect for today. While I was washing my hair Cara went downstairs to make some toast for herself. Once I was done I put on my lilac summer dress that has pink flowers on it and brushed my hair so I could keep it out. I then put on my silver flats and went downstairs to make myself some toast. I was surprised when I saw that Luke was already sitting on the lounge watching Pokemon and Mom and Dad were eating there toast already. "Morning darling" Mom greeted me. "Morning" I replied putting the bread in the toaster. While I waited for the toast to toast I sat next to Cara at the dining table. POP ! I nearly fell out of my seat when the toast was finished I didn't expect it to be so loud. I put some jam on the toast and then I ate it. "Okay Kids be on your best behaviour I'm Going to now go get your new brother okay" Dad said. We all nodded in reply.

Jacob's P.O.V

A few weeks ago I had my parents, I had my house and I had a family. Now I don't have my parents or my house or my family. Last week My Mom and Dad were in a car accident but sadly they didn't survive. I don't have any living relatives, Both sets of my grandparents are dead and My Mom and Dad don't have any siblings. So I have been staying in a orphanage for the past week, but today some family is going to adopt me I'm really nervous about it. I finally zip my last suitcase shut as Jenna calls my name. Jenna is one of the workers at the orphanage that I stay at. I go to Jenna, there's a man standing next to Jenna I wonder who he is. "Jacob this man is here to adopt you please go get your bags" she said. I go to my room which I shared with a boy called Mike.

Alice's Dad's P.O.V

I watched the boy who's name I think is Jacob go back to his room. "Is he a handful?" I asked the lady. "No he's quite quiet actually" she replied. "Oh" Is all I said. "But most kids are quiet here anyways, one you get to know him he's probably open up to you" The lady said with a knowing look on her face. The boy soon came back with 3 suitcases. "Do you have everything?" I asked him. "Yeah" he said. "So whats your name?" I asked him trying to make small talk as we made our way to the car. "Jacob" he replied as I started the car. "I have 2 kids back at home, one's a boy and he's also 8 years old" I told him about Luke. "Cool" he said back. "And the others a girl about your age actually" I continued. "Cool I'll have somebody to hang out with" he replied. "We're almost there" I said.

]Alice's P.O.V

I heard the jingle of keys from outside the front door, I squeezed Cara's hand in anticipation. Mom Luke Cara and I were standing in front of the front door waiting for our new brother and dad. It seemed like 100 years for the door to open. When I saw who it was let's just say, I didn't take it too well. Here's what happened, I fainted.

"Is she alive?"

"Of course she is honey, she'll wake up soon"

"I think she's waking up!"

"She is!" 

I heard muffled voices. What happened? I tried opening my eyes. I quickly shut my eyes as the bright light blinded me. I let out a groan. I tried opening my eyes again. I saw five blurry figures hovering over me. Once My eyes went back to focus I instantly remembered what had happened. I got up and asked dad for a cup of water. In a second he came back and handed it to me. "Are you okay? do you feel fine? Do you remember who I am?" I noticed that Mum was a brink away from crying and I couldn't help but chuckle. "Yes, I feel fine and no, who are you?" I faked. "She doesn't remember me!" Mum wailed. "Wait! stop! I was just Kidding!" Shouted hugging her. "Oi!" She said hitting my arm playfully.

Luke then grabbed Jacob's arm and began dragging him away. "Let me show you my room!" Luke said excitedly. "okay" he replied following him. "Wait! Could Alice and I have a word with Jacob first Luke?" Cara asked. "Okay" he said going to un-pause the Pokemon on the TV. We then leaded Jacob to my room. "Nice room" he complimented my room. "Okay enough with the nice guy thing" Cara ordered. "And since when do you not have parents?" I added. "Okay a month ago both my parents died in a car accident" he said with blank expression. "Oh" I said not really knowing what to reply. "Jacob there you are come see my room" Luke said coming in and dragging Jacob out. "That explains why he was so quiet at school!" Cara realised.

Once Jacob finished unpacking he told Mom and Dad about his girlfriend Jessica then went to go meet her somewhere. Cara and I were currently at a park eating ice cream with our close friend Ella. "Wait a minute, you're telling me that Jacob as in your enemy Jacob is living with you now!" Ella said processing the news in her head. I nodded in response "Wow" is all she said. Ella is the smart one of the group. She and Allie Black are always competing for which one of them is smarter. "I'm coming to your house so I can see him" she said. Oh I forgot to mention that Ella has a HUGE crush on Jacob even though he has a girlfriend, I really don't see what she see's in him. "I still don't see what you see in him" I said.

Jacob's P.O.V

I'm waiting for Jessica at the park because there is something I need to do. recently we had a big fight and things don't feel the same. "Hey, JaJa!" Jessica said skipping over to me. "Hey Jess" I said avoiding Eye contact. Whats wrong?" she asked confused. "Look Jessica I don't think this is working out. I think you're a wonderful girl and all but I don't think I'm the one for you" I say as I watch her expression change from cheery to disappointed. "Oh okay thank you for being my boyfriend while you were I guess" she says walking off. I then notice two girls with black hair and one with blonde, I go a bit closer to them and then I realise that it's Cara, Alice and another girl. Oh well I better head back home.

A/N Hello sorry if this chapter was quite short. So I did many P.O.V'S including Jacob's. In this chapter you saw Jacob move in. For this chapter I wanted you guys to know that even if Jacob and Jessica seem mean to Alice they aren't always like this.
