Chapter 1
'And then I saw her standing there
With green eyes and long blonde hair
She won't be wearing underwear
at least I prayed that
she might be the one, maybe we'd have some fun.'
I sang through the lyrics of the song playing on the radio as I drove to school. It was my first day at Lowell High, so instead of thinking of the negative things that will happen to a new student - which is me. I sang like a dude on drugs in my car. And since I was alone, nobody can stop me.
I drive a Yellow Chevy Camaro ZL1. Yup, I know what you're thinking, but no, I'm not rich - parents are.
I finally reached school. Everyone's eyes were glued on my car. And since my windows are tinted, they really have no idea who was driving it. I think they were assuming that it was a dude driving this car due to the almost disgusting stares of the ladies. I parked on the side where there were a few cars, I don't want someone scratch the beauty of this vehicle.
I slowly shut off the engine, and the souls were still waiting for someone to get out. And so I did, so they'd stop staring. I slung may bag on my shoulders and opened the door. I noticed the girl's faces turned to a frown due to their expectation that I was a new student - which is a guy who drives a really nice car. But no, sorry.
But vice versa, the guys must've been turned on due to the amused stares they were giving. Or maybe they just really like the Chevy.
I shut the door and pretend that it was a normal day for me - I perfectly ignored the stares. Did I wear my clothes badly? Hey, my mom works for one of the most successful designers in the world so I know how to dress.
I was wearing a black sleeveless tank top with a printed feathered skull - topped with a leather jacket, ripped skinny jeans and high-heeled ankle boots. And I wore very light make up. What's the problem with that?
I took a deep breath and walked inside the school. It was a mess. Bullies, jocks, nerds, hipsters, goths, and even the popular groups were everywhere. So I felt comfortable going inside the school. But as I passed, stares were still being passed. I guess this is how bad a new student feels. Damn.
But wait this school is pretty huge. I have to find the principal's office. I kept taking turns through hallways and end up going to where I started. I then, heard my iphone rang from my pocket.
I got a text from the principal.
"Running late on first day of school? You better get here in 10 minutes, Ms. Diarmuid. The text said.
I tapped through the acreen and texted a reply to the principal that I can't fucking find his office. I was halfway through completing my text while walking until-
"Oops." A random, not just random but hot, charming, sex god, and sexy guy bumped on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry-" we both said in chorus
"I was-" then again.
I tried to stop talking so he'd explain.
"Hey, uh, sorry. I was looking at my friend over there." He said pointing to a direction at his back. By the way he dressed and by the way he exposed his charm, I can tell that this guy is popular.
"Oh hey, you're the new kid." He said pointing at me. He sure loves to point.
"I guess the rumor did spread that fast." I said gripping my bag. "Oh hey uh, can you tell me where the principal's office is?" I asked.
"It's in the second floor, third door to the left."
"Thanks."
I finally saw the stairs. But before I could take a step, a warm, soft hand gripped my arm. It was the guy from a while ago.
"Yes?" I said in a confused tone.
"What's your name again?"
"Mia Diarmuid."
"I'm Alexander, Alexander Parker." Then he offered me a handshake. I was being irritated by the way his eyes met mine. It made me go whoo. I pulled my hand away then he said "See you later." Then I walked away. Damn that Alexander.
I jogged my way to the principal's office then it was a good thing I made it in time.
