The attendees of the party looked quite proper. They were dressed as if the party was a special gathering, not a huge high school party where everyone gets wasted. To my instincts, no one was drunk. Almost everyone were holding canned sodas, wine, champagne, and only a few people hitted on the red solo cups - which I assumed had spiked punch in it. No one were dirty dancing, instead there were people dancing like they were in a prom; no couples making up - shoving tongues down each others throats, but instead they were just flirting and giggling, sweetly; no hookers, sluts, instead there were the proper students. What happened to the others? Where's Tiffany, and her clan?
A waiter holding a tray of drinks stopped by where Juliette and I were standing and stretched out his arm to move the tray closer to us. Juliette got Dr. Pepper, and I found this blue drink that looked like a thirst-quencher. It had ice and lemons floating in it, it looked good.
"Hey what's that blue liquid?" I asked the waiter.
"It's blue lemonade, madamme."
"Is it-"
"Not spiked madamme, 100% blue lemonade." He cut me off.
"Great!" I said then reached for it, I took a sip and damn it was heaven.
Juliette and I walked around the room, then we found a mini bar. We sat there and talked about the party. Until someone interrupted us.
"I'm glad you two came." He said, then he slung his arm on my shoulder. I took it off but I 50% did regret it, because he smelled so good, it was so nice flowing through my nostrils.
"Yup!" I said, looking at him.
"This party is awesome, Xander!" Juliette yelled, making sure Xander can hear her voice due to the loud music popping.
"Thank you, Juliette." He said, then found his friend beside him. "Oh yeah, by the way, this is Flynn." He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and his lips were rosy. He isn't one of the jocks who dressed up with snapbacks, and very low jeans. He wore a blue simply - blue sweater and black jeans. I shook his hand and said my name. Juliette did too. And I saw a spark between them. Their hands were stuck there for seconds and their eyes had contact. Xander cleared his throat signaling them to get down on earth.
"I'm gonna show Mia around, alright?" Xander said. Then offered his hand to help me get down of the high chair I was sitting on. We started walking around leaving Juliette and Flynn.
"Where are the other ones? I thought everyone was invited?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, about that." He stated then peeked through a curtain. "Here." He opened the curtain slowly then revealed where the other students were. They were somewhere down. Good thing there was a glass seperating the two rooms. The people who were there were the opposite of where I am now. There were drunk, laid, wasted, high/baked, others making out and everyone was dirty dancing - the very opposite of what was happening here.
"Why aren't they here?" I asked.
"I don't want them to ruin a party where I am. I hate wild parties, but I still throw them."
"Do they know where you are?"
"Nope. They can't notice that I am gone for hours since all of them are drunk."
"How about Tiffany? Why is she there?"
"She aims for the spiked drinks, Mia."
"Oh." I trailed off. But still continued, "Aren't you supposed to have fun and flirt with girls in your party?" I asked him. Then he gave me a confused look, so I continued, "You know, have fun. Have a girl make out with you. Get drunk too, it's your party you should have fun as well like they are." I explained.
