CHAPTER 2

My hands were swearing. All eyes were on me, and it was silent that you can nearly hear the girls gossiping at the back.

"That's the chic with the cool car." A neutrogena commercial beauty girl said. She had blonde hair that was curled. She was pretty, almost like an angel. But by the way she moves and looks at me, I can already tell that she was popular. She must be dating Alexander's friends. Or yeah, probably, maybe even Alexander.

"Should we be friends with her?" A brunette asked her.

"Hmmm" she started thinking and tapped on her chin. "I guess not" she continued.

Then don't.

Bitch.

"My name is Mia Diarmuid." As I said my name, everyones jaw dropped. So as the blonde and the teacher.

I took a seat and placed my bag on the floor.

"M-Mianelle Diarmuid? You mean the daughter of Sir Richard Diarmuid?" A guy with huge glasses whispered. I slowly turned my head to him and nodded. "Nice." He said.

On my left was the blonde girl. She reached her hand and offered a hand shake. "I'm Tiffany Collins." She said and gave me a fake grin. I looked at her hand but ignored the hand shake. I said "okay" and looked back at the teacher. I heard her scoff and saw her pouted her lips. It made me smile. Haha, so much win.

I listened through the whole discussion. But hey, I was still conscious of the time. I was being bored too.

"Class dismissed." The teacher said, then the bell rang.

Everybody started to shuffle out of class. I shoved every book I used in my bag.

I went straight to my locker, then placed all the books inside. And as I finished and shut it, a face popped behind it - Alexander. His shoulder was leaning on the locker next to mine. His eyes were pierced through me, and he was holding a smirk.

"Nice gesture." He started.

"What?"

"Tiffany."

"Oh, that."

"Good thing you disapproved her." He started. But I'm really not in the mood to talk about bitches. So I changed the topic.

"So what's up, Alexander?"

"It's lunch time."

"I know."

"Wanna sit with me, Diarmuid?" He said. Sit with him? Hahaha no way. "I mean, sit with our group. There will be girls." He pointed on one of his friends waiting at the side. I saw one checking me out and winked at me. It grossed me out. Alexander noticed his friends then his jaw clenched.

"I'd rather not. Thank you." I said then walked away.

As I made my steps, I heard Alexander yell, "Fuck you, Jake. I was this close." Well, wow. Never thought he would make it, but no.

The cafeteria was huge. I didn't know where to sit. But I didn't mind, the nerds can accept me. I grabbed a tray and started to go in line. I saw a pretty girl next to me. She had long, red curly hair, brown eyes and was reading a book - The Host.

"Mmm, the host, that's awesome you know?" I started.

She raised her index finger and said, "Please don't spoil." I surrendered my hands then payed for my food. I followed her and tried to make friends. Good thing she's nice.

As I ate, my eyes searched around the room. I found Alexander, flirting with a girl. Damn she's hot. But, ew. Good thing I didn't take his offer.

I saw the redhead closed her book and looked at me. "Juliette Bridges." She said.

"Mia Diarmuid." I said. We shook hands and I was surprised. She really looked nice. I think I can be friends with this girl.
