The word 'kiss' marked on my mind. My ass was just sticking there, and looking at every guy I see.
"That's too complicated, Xander." I stated.
"Not really." He said.
"Yeah probably because you've kissed everyone in school so far except me."
"Just do the dare."
"Fine." I said then stood up. Paul and Xander's eyes gleamed at what I was about to do. My eyes strolled around the kitchen as I found Conrad. He's cute, not a jock, and single so it's free to kiss him. So I said to myself, "Go for it."
I walked past the crowds until I reached the kitchen where Conrad was. My head tilted backwards due to his tallness.
"Hey, Mia." He said.
"I'm sorry for this." I said then quickly placed my arms on his shoulders and placed myself closer to him. I counted two seconds, and that's it. After two seconds, I landed my lips to his. I suddenly felt his hands touch my waist then he brought me closer to him. His lips were soft and almost fine but there was something missing that I can't explain, something so odd that is missing. And then suddenly I remembered that it was just a game and he might just be fooled.
"I'm sorry." I said then pulled away.
"For what?" He asked but before I answered him, I walked away. "Hey, Mia! Wait up!" He yelled then jogged towards me. He then reached where I was then pulled my arm, "Hey." He said.
"Yep?" I acted drunk.
"What are you sorry for?"
"What? Sorry for what?" I said then changed my voice like I was really drunk. Then I saw his face change.
"Oh, okay. I get it. You're drunk, but look at me." He said then held my face to face him. "I'm gonna say something but it's alright to me because you're gonna have a hangover this morning and probably forget everything that happened tonight." He paused. "That kiss- I've never had such a nice kiss after a year, so I thank you for letting me experience one again.
Thank you, Mia." He said then walked away. I just stood there, like a post and watched him leave. I stared blankly at the ground then marched my way to the couch where Xander and Paul was.
"What happened?" Xander and Paul asked. Then I just shook my head.
"Let's just continue the game." I replied, then they followed what I said. I guess they tried to understand me, so they did- they played as if nothing happened. We just sat there and I forgot what happened. We played there, until we were the only ones who were there in my house, until we fell asleep.
