I woke up the next morning feeling really sore and groggy. Looking down, I realized I was in one of my brothers’ T’s and a pair of sweatpants. I must have been really tired last night because I barely remembered getting home, let alone getting ready for bed.
“It’s about time you got up!” T exclaimed from the desk while she was putting on her make-up. “So…are you gonna tell me why Noah carried you in last night?”
“Ugh, don’t remind me,” I groaned walking my way to the bathroom to take a shower with no intention to re-live last night.
I turned on the hot water, pulled off my pajamas and walked into the shower. Nothing could make me feel better than a hot shower that lasted forever. It may sound stupid, but I actually do a lot of my best thinking in the shower with no distractions. The only problem with that is that I had no desire to even think about what happened last night. That was definitely going to be hard considering I had bruises in the shape of fingers on both of my wrists, my jaw was sore with an apple shaped bruise, and scrapes on my back, arms, and legs from being pushed against the brick wall. Taking extra care with my body I finished up my shower getting out faster than usual to stop re-living last night.
“So…are you gonna tell me what happened last night?” Tori asked taking in my appearance in my towel as I walked into the room. As she noticed my bruises and scrapes the smile slowly fell from her face. “Okay, what really happened? Because if Noah hurt you I swear he’s gonna regret it.”
“No, he saved me from that drunk guy that dragged me outside after dancing,” I told her after I spilled my guts about everything.
“I’m gonna call Nick and make sure that bastard never comes back. I’m so glad that you’re okay,” she said in all seriousness before she broke out into a smile. “And it doesn’t help that Noah Pierce came to your rescue.”
“Whatever,” I said with a roll of my eyes. “He only did it so he could look like the good guy and get closer to getting my pants off. The only good thing Noah Pierce does is if he can get something out of it. And trust me….he ain’t gettin anything out of it…or in it for that matter.”
“You are so freaking delusional E. That boy has the hotts for you, as in you’re a volcano about to explode, and he wants to be there to not just see the eruption, but he wants to cause it too,” she wriggled her eyebrows at me.
“You are seriously disgusting.” I told her with disgust in my voice. “And I know I’m right. He’s just a player, but I’m done talking about Noah Pierce. I want to do something fun!”
“Wellll, about that, did you happen to forget it’s movie night tonight? With the guys,” she reminded me.
“Crap! I did forget. I better put some clothes on, clean up, and make some snacks before they get here.” I said running to my closet. I threw on my favorite black soffee shorts and hot pink tank top hoping to avoid anything rubbing against my scrapes as much as possible.
“Alright, you’re gonna help,” I told Tori pulling my hair into a messy bun before grabbing her hand and yanking her after me. “You guys promised anyways.”
“Yea, yea, yea,” she reluctantly followed me.
After 2 hours of extreme cleaning the house looked good and we still had an hour to get ready before the guys came over. I was pulling the last of the French bread pizzas out of the oven before getting ready when the door bell rang. When I cracked open the door Noah Pierce was standing on the opposite side looking so casual in his jeans belted just low enough with a plain white T on. Any guy that can pull off a plain black or white T gets bonus points, and Noah was definitely scoring points.
