Spencer 'spotted' Kenna getting friendly with the opponents coach and assumes that she's 'cheating' on him with the coach. He accuses her of this only to piss her off even more because SHE ISN'T. Because of his offensive behaviour, she's given him the ultimate ICE-QUEEN-SILENT-TREATMENT. Spencer decides to take Kenna to New York before the Bora Bora retreat to apologise and try and win her back.
Got it? Okay - LET'S GO!

"Would you like sugar with that?" the flight stewardess offers.
I shake my head silently, "No, thank you."
What am I doing? What am I thinking? I shouldn't have accepted to Spencer's request. I shouldn't be here. For a twenty-three-year-old, I'm surprised that I haven't got any grey hairs yet. I stress like more than I should. Keeping to myself, I take small sips of my black tea allowing myself to count to a hundred before the captain announces his take off. Spencer's probably planned out this elaborate trip with fireworks and limousines in hopes for my forgiveness but he'll have to try harder than that. I'm not his freaking mother – I don't have to teach him how to treat a woman properly but if it comes to that then I'm afraid I have to do so.
"Are you comfortable?" Spencer asks from across the aircraft.
"I'm alright." I shut down any type of conversation he feels he needs to start.
He doesn't need to. The process is as generic as a movie full of clichés. We exchanged numbers during the week; little words were spoken to one another. I sent over a message to tell him that it'd be better if we'd go from when school ended. Spencer had no reason not to obey, and the fact of the matter is – I'm not comfortable with Spencer knowing my home address. With a suitcase full of clothes to last me a week, I called Nicole for a favour.
"So you're just going to New York without me?" Nicole pretends to feel hurt.
She opens up the boot of her car and sluggishly assists me in securing it in its rightful place. I can't fully tell her about this free trip that I'm honestly not feeling. And the last time I was in New York was with Luca, so it'll be different this time. That'll be a whole new unwanted gut wrenching feeling.
My tongue smacks my bottom lips, "Oh please, you have business things to worry about. It's just for two days."
"Two days there and then a week in Bora Bora!" Nicole relentlessly corrects.
"So a week and a bit?" I laugh at her counted numbers, "So what?"
Handing her the cold cup of coffee, she accepts willingly and continues to whinge about my impending absence.
Nicole says it as if it's obvious to me, "I don't have anyone to bitch to!"
"But-" I want to remind her but she declines rather quickly.
"And don't you dare say those girls that work with me in the office." Nicole rips away her sunglasses, "They're total gossips, worse than me."
"There's a thing called a phone, you know?" I hint as her calling me whenever she needs me, "And you also have Heath."
"Yes but it's not the same." She waves her hand in the air in defeat.
"I'll call you when I land in Bora Bora." I have to compromise, otherwise, she might weep.
Spencer lays out a fleece blanket on my lap, "Here."
It's funny how time can pass by so quickly. That initial conversation I had with Nicole was only this morning, eight hours ago. Spencer waited by my office and offered to take my luggage to his car. I knew that every student in the school had gone home and all the faculty members were packing their things to get ready for the weeklong trip.
