Chapter 6 - Alyssa Murphy, more like Devil of the day

Jason and I walk down the hall together, "Ugh, out of all the people who could end up being my sister it's her"
"But she's not even Paula's biological daughter is she?"
"How do you know Paula.."
"Paula and my mum are really good friends, her family and mine always meet up for dinner sometimes, that's how I met Sydney"
"So that means I'd be seeing more of you"
"Yep, that should be a good thing" He laughs.
Then classes start..

I walk to my class which happened to be my favourite because Jay, Zoe, Brianna and I were in the same class.
The teacher walks to the front, "Okay, we have a new student today so make her feel welcome, please welcome, Alyssa Murphy"
"Oh.. My.. God" Mumbles Brianna.
"Do you think it's who I think it is?" Says Jay.
"The girl you always talk about.."
"Alyssa Murphy.." I mumble.
She scans the room and stops as she see's Jay, Brianna and I.
"Ah! Brianna! Jay! Sky! It's so nice to see my pets again"
"Alyss--"
"Okay find a seat Alyssa, you can catch up later"
After classes..

"Alyssa what are you doing here?" Says Jay.
"Oh you know.. Coming back to see my babes!"
Zoe stands there awkwardly.
"Y-you've replaced me.." Mumbles Alyssa.
"Alyssa you were a bad person, you were drug dealing, threatening.. And you always commanded us to do what YOU want or you'd ruin our lives!" I yell.
Brianna calms me down, "Sky--"
"Ugh, I'm calm.. I'm calm"
"Yes and I will do it again" Alyssa smirks.
"Well I'm out" I walk back.
"You can't quit me! I know Brianna and Jay will stay"
Brianna and Jay look at each other.
"I'm out.." Jay walks to me.
"Brianna baby" Alyssa looks at her.
"Sorry Ally.. But you were a bad person" She walks away.
"Come on Zoe" Says Jay.
We walk away together.
"You WILL regret this.. Especially you Skyler Hartley"
Alyssa notices Jason walk to his locker.
"Oh Jason!! Babe!" She runs over to him.
".. Alyssa, uh--"
"Hush, don't act surprised to see me, I know you're urging to get back together"
"No, I broke up with you because I found someone I was happy with!"
"That Sydney girl.. Screw her"
"Sydney broke up with me" Jason sighs.
".. Good girl" She mumbles.
"Alyssa.. We're not getting back together"
"Yes we are! YOU LOVE ME!"
"No--"
"Yes! YOU DO YOU DO! You belong to me! ONLY I CAN BREAK UP WITH YOU!" She storms off.
"WE'RE STILL NOT TOGETHER!" Yells Jason.

"Ugh.. I can't believe it, Alyssa is back, Alyssa! Why Alyssa?" Says Brianna.
"Did she not notice me?" Says Zoe.
"Oh I think she did"
Zoe sighs, "What's the full story?"
Jay, Brianna and I look at each other.
"It was back in 7th grade.."
"She treated Brianna, Sky and me like her pets.. Always to get the guys, show off.. If either of us had a boyfriend she'd try to take him from us!" Yells Jay.
"Hey.. Sky weren't you dating Zac back then?" Says Zoe.
I sigh, "Y-yea"
Brianna looks at Zoe, "Uh.. Well" She clears her throat.
Then Zoe remembers..
"Oh.. I'm so sorry Sky I didn't remember--"
"It's fine" I force a laugh.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!"
The bell rings, we go to class.

I get approached by Alyssa in the hall, "Watch out Hartley"
"No"
"Only I get Jason, no one else but me.. Keep that in mind"
"I'll try not to"
We walk passed each other, leaving the sarcastic conversation.

My last yet worst class.. The class where Jason Sydney used to sit together and flirt.. He sits next to me now.
I walk in and approach my sit to find Alyssa sitting in it, "Alyssa.. I'm not sure if your brains able to function but I sit there"
"Well too bad, It's my seat now" She smirks and looks towards Jason from the corner of her eye.
I roll my eyes as I'm about to say something but something stops me..
Sydney walks in and approaches us, "Uh Sky?"
I turn around, but Jason quickly stands up and runs in front of me, "What do you want Sydney?"
"I just want to talk to Skyler" She glares at him.
It happens as fast as ever, Sydney grabs my hand and tries to lead me to the other side of the room, Jason takes me back, "Sky will you go out with me?"
Alyssa runs in front of me, "Of course I will baby!" She yells.
Sydney glares at the situation.
I take a few steps back.
"Oh I'm so glad we're a couple Jason!" Alyssa hugs him, Jason pushes her off and runs over to me, "So will you?"
"Uh--"
The teacher walks in, "Okay everyone sit down!"
Sydney glares at me and sits down in her seat, I do the same.
Class starts.

"He WHAT?!"
"He asked me out.." I say.
"What did you say?!" Yells Brianna.
"The teacher walked in right after that"
"Dam, text him text him!"
"I'll discuss it with him after school" I laugh.
"So what happened with Sydney?" Says Jay.
"She wanted to talk to me.. But I think she's mad now"
"And you live with her! Ahaha" Brianna laughs.
"Hm, I do too.."
"Good luck" Jay laughs.
I walk home myself.

I walk inside and chuck my bag on the floor.
"Hey Sky" Says Paula as she brushes her hair.
"Hey"
"We have your brothers funeral booked for this Saturday"
Just then I get a flashback of all the times I spent with Mason, I get that feeling in my stomach that makes me wanna cry my eyes out, the feeling gets stronger until I can't take it anymore, I run to the couch and burry my face in my knees.. I cry.. For the first time in a few years.
"Skyler hunny! Don't cry! It's okay, me and the girls are here for you.. Well Miah and Abigail"
"I know.." I say in a shaky voice.
Paula streaks my hair, "Don't worry Skyler, he may be gone, but not forgotten"
I nod slowly, "Y-yea I guess"
She hugs me, Paula's hugs were amazing.
We let go of the hug and turned on the TV.
Miah runs through the door, "Finally I'm home!!"
"Hey Miah"
"Heyy!!
I get a text from Jason.
'Hey, meet me at the park tonight at 7'
"Ooh, who's it from?" Paula peers over.
"Jason" I say.
"WHAT?! Give me that!" Paula grabs my phone and looks at the text, "Omg.. HE LIKES YOU! HE LOVES YOU!!"
"Did I forget to mention he asked me out today"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"
"We got rudely interrupted" I say in a sarcastic voice.
"Omg omg, LETS DO YOUR HAIR! AND YOUR MAKE UP, clothes shoes--"
"It's just the park Paula" I laugh.
"Oh.. Right, well tell me everything that happens!!"
"Oh I will"

I walk to the park.
"Uh.. You wanted to see me?" I say awkwardly hoping someone would hear me.
"Hello Skyler"
I turn around to see Alyssa with a gun in her hand..
