Chapter Thirty Two

Myles pov

After a while we pull away and Justice leaves me and Jake to talk. We start talking about Justice and when I left and got lost he looked after the family and got here before me and trained and became a guard and took care of Justice but not so much that the other guards would notice and lock Jake up. "So-" there's a knock on the door.
"Hey, Jake there's Kate at the door wanting you," says the soft voice of Justice. Jake nods and walks to the door.
"I would say goodbye but this will not be the last time I'll see you," Jake says as more of an order.
"Hey, have you talked to mom since?"
"Yes. I've been talking to, Kate, actually. She's renovating every house in every district. They get to choose colours and stuff like that," he says before giving a quick nod and he's out the door. I don't move, I just sit here thinking.
"He's changed," says Justice kneeling in front of me. I nod looking up at her, staring into her eyes. "Nice to see him?" She asks with a warm, shy smile. I nod again. "He told me somethings, about when I left, and..."
"What did he tell you exactly?"
"Why? You worried what he said?"
"Uh... I know, I know, I'm sorry."
"For what?" I just look at her trying not to laugh. Why do I want to laugh? I can't stop myself from smiling so I do and she smiles back. "I love you. And if you ever try do that again I'll-"
"Kiss me."
"Wha-"I interrupt by fitting my mouth to hers. As I pull away she raps her arms around my neck, pulls me close to her and rolls me on my back, crawls on top and kisses me. When she pulls back I slide my hands to her waist and up her back keeping her close to me as possible. "God, I love you," she sighs before kissing me again.

I wake up a few hours later with Justice asleep on top of me. I don't want to move her so I leave her and watch her sleep. I can't believe this beautiful girl is mine.
"Hey, baby," she says with a smile getting comfortable.
"Hey, babe. I was wondering..." my voice trails off when I realize I shouldn't talk about this now but I know she'll ask.
"About?" She asks, her eyes fluttering open.
"Uh, never mind."
"Babe," she groans.
"What?"
"Don't, just don't do that."
"What?"
"That 'never mind' thing. You know I want to know, so don't teas me like that."
"I don't think you'll want to talk about it." She just gives me a look that says I have to tell her now. "Baby I... I don't want you to cry or get upset but..." There's a knock at our door. "Oh save by the bell."
"You're not saved, I'll ask you later. Come in," she yells, "And you better answer."
The door opens and there stands Kate. she gives us a warm smile.
"You two are so cute together. Anyway, I'll get to the point. Where would you like to live with your families?"
"What?" Me and Justice say in sink.
"Live. You can move away from them but you can either live in the city or back where you were."
Me and Justice look at each other knowing each others answer...
