Chapter 4
Crystal’s POV
It’s been a week since Angel left and the police haven’t found anything as far as I’ve heard. I got my iPod back yesterday, which I am thankful I did. I missed that thing so much, considering that it was the only way to keep up with my friends on Facebook since the laptop broke. I was never this mad at Angel in my life, but I still miss her. Ever since that phone call I have been very worried about her, because I know she was in danger. My theory is that the guy tricked her into coming with him saying he loved her, and then he turned against her and kidnapped her. I felt like I was in some kind of drama film or something.
I got in the car so my mom could take me to my dad’s house. I haven’t seen him in three weeks. My dad is a police officer, and I usually see him every two weeks, but he’s been busy looking for Angel. I can’t stand it when I have to stay at mom’s house longer than two weeks, mostly because I don’t like Chris too much. Dad’s house on the other hand is always fun and peaceful, and he lives next door to Nicholas. Dad’s fiancée is really nice too, her name is Meredith. She doesn’t yell at me or my dad, and she’s good friends with my mom. Chris isn’t friends with dad, because dad doesn’t like him. Dad thinks the same as me, that’s why we get along better than mom and I.
When I arrived at my Dad’s house I looked around the house trying to find dad, but I came across Meredith. “Meredith, do you know where dad is?” I asked softly. “He’s at work Crystal. I’m sorry, but he’ll be home later tonight. He said that they have found some video cameras from stores that revealed what the kidnapper looked like.” So, if they find the right stuff we might just have a chance at saving my best friend. Every little clue can get us a step further to Angel.
Angel’s POV
Randy slammed me against the hard basement wall, causing me to cough up blood. “Who do you think you are? I won’t tolerate such childish behavior, telling me where you are and aren’t going.” Randy screamed at me in his dark voice. “I thought you loved me Randy.” I managed to cough out. “Darling, I do love you. You just have to listen to me and you won’t have to get hurt.” If he really loved me, why would he hurt me? “Whatever” I spat. Randy quickly lunged forward and forcefully slapped me. “Don’t whatever me babe.” I felt sick at this point, he abused me over and over again, torturing me. He tied me to a chair while I blacked out and continued abusing me. I wanted to be home, I wanted to be with my parents and Crystal. I should have listened to her, but she doesn’t even care right about now. I bet she has already forgotten about me.
“Randy let me go! I bet the police are right outside of here looking for me!” Randy’s face grew angry. “Don’t tell me what to do.” “I just did.” Suddenly, his radio turned on and he flipped through all the news stations. I heard one of them talk about me, saying police were here in Georgia looking for me. Randy pulled out something from his pocket; it looked like a small pocket knife. I tried to escape from the chair but the ropes and duck tape was too tight. Randy walked closer to me, making me feel nauseous. Was he going to kill me? The knife kept getting closer and closer. I closed my eyes tightly, and prepared for my death. After a couple of seconds my hands were free. I opened both of my eyes to see that he was cutting the ropes. Why is he letting me go? Just a few minutes ago he was beating me, but now he’s setting me free.
Eventually my whole body was free and I stood up. As soon as I stood up, Randy picked me up over his shoulder. I began kicking and screaming trying to be put down. I thought he was letting me go, but no way am I going to let him take me away again, no matter how much I love him. He might have abused me and hurt me, but he loves me. I know he does. I continued to throw a fit but he carried me outside. Attached to his blue truck was a small trailer. He opened it and threw me in there. I landed on my stomach and turned over as I clutched my ribs. My ribs ached horribly, why did this have to happen to me? Why couldn’t my love just have put me in the front seat?
I sat up in the pitch black trailer. My head hit the wall every time Randy would turn or hit a bump, which happened quite often, and I could feel he was speeding. I regret coming out here with Randy. I wouldn’t be on the “Missing Child” list, or on the news. Crystal’s dad is looking for me I know for sure, but I doubt Crystal is. I mean, I am always the one to be nice to her, and I don’t pull the crap that she pulls. Like how the last day I was home, she went and got all mad for no reason, I was like “What the hell?”
Crystal’s POV
I just lay in my room depressed about one of my best friends getting kidnapped, but what could I do to help? I pulled my iPod out of my pocket and texted Skylar. Skylar and I have been best friends since 3rd grade. She was very nice and she had her moments but that’s why we get along so perfectly. Skylar came rushing in through my door. “Wow that was quick!” I exclaimed. “Well, all I did was packed some bags with supplies and all necessities we will need for our trip!” I’m not going to attempt to figure out where she had the time to do that between the times I texted her and the time she walked over. “Okay, we will leave tomorrow morning, very early, I’m talking about four or five.” “Alright, that sounds like a plan!”
See, I had texted Skylar asking her what she thought about us both leaving early in the morning to Georgia to see if we could find Angel. I have a bunch of money saved up for this plan. Skylar always wanted to sneak out and do dangerous things like this, so I thought it would be perfect. Not only that, I couldn’t do it alone. Skylar is a mastermind when it comes to plans and maps, so we could use both of our skills to find Angel. It wasn’t too late, so Skylar and I walked next door to Nicholas’s house. I knocked on his window and he opened it, as we both climbed in. We all sat on the bed and stared around. That is until I broke the silence.
“Nicholas, I need to tell you something.” Nicholas looked confused. “Oh God you’re breaking up with me!” Every time I have to tell Nicholas something he always assumes I’m going to break up with him. “No! I have something very secret and important to tell you, and you can’t tell anyone.” His sparkly blue eyes widened. “Crystal what’s going on?” I explained to Nicholas, and he refused to let us go without him. So Skylar and I talked everything out and we were all leaving tomorrow morning at four o’clock.

Selena here! I haven't hung out with Nicole lately, so we haven't worked together lately! >.< Anyways, what do you think is going to happen to Angel? Did you like her POV? And most of all, do you think Crystal, Skylar and Nicholas are going to succeed in their plan?
