Alex's P.O.V
That night, I dressed in a green t-shirt, with a red sweatshirt, and blue jeans. I ran to the roofs, and looked for Raph. Suddenly I felt arms wrap around me. I giggled. "Hey, hot shot." He laughed. "Hey, Princess." I turned to him, just to be met with his lips. We pulled away. "So, where to?" Raph picked me up bridle style. "I'm not helpless yaknow." I said, raising an eyebrow. "I know." He chuckled. Raph tied a blindfold around my eyes. He carried me some where, and stopped. Raphael set me down. "Take it off." I untied the blindfold, and gasped. We were on top of a hill, overlooking the whole city.
"Wow, Raph. just....wow." Raph led me to a spot, and we sat down. "Its beautiful out here." he kissed my head. "Not as beautiful as you, Lex."
Flash Back........
I sat on the roof with Jason. We gazed up into the star filled night sky. "Wow, its beautiful." I remarked. Jason kissed my cheek. "Not as beautiful as you Lex."
End flash back.
I looked down, a tear fell to the grass. "Hey Alex, you ok?" I wiped my eyes. "Yeah, I'm fine." He lifted my chin, and looked into my sea green eyes. "Alex, tell me what's wrong." I sighed, and hugged my knees. "Its jason. He was my friend back in the days of my old life. I...I had a crush on him. and one night, we were on the roof of the campus. We were talking...then, he kissed my cheek and said I was beautiful. then........I dont want to talk about what happened next." Raph rubbed my shoulder. "Its ok, you don't have to talk about it." We lay down and looked at the stars.
I put my head on Raph's chest, and he put his arm around my waist. I yawned. "Tired?" I nodded. "lets go back to the lair." I yawned again. "Sure, ok." We got up, and walked down the hill. Suddenly I smelled something wrong. I stopped. "Alex? What is it." Raph asked. I took a long sniff. My eyes widdened. I know that smell anywhere. Smoke.
I grabbed Raph's hand and pulled him into the streets. Following the smell of smoke, I reached the scene. I burning house! Raph, and I stood, looking at the flames. Then I smelled something else. "there are people in there." I said. Raph gulped. "Alex, don't." I squeezed his shoulder. "I love you." I ran in. Hearing Raph shout my name. I choked on the smoke as I made my way though the house. I came to a bed room. I opened the door, and saw two adults lying on the floor. I went to another room, and saw a young boy, about 10 or 11. lying on the floor. He looked up at me. I reached out my hand to him, and he grabbed it. "Its ok," I told him. "Every thing will be ok." That's when the place exploded.
Raph's P.O.V
I watched in terror as my girlfriend ran into the burning building. "Alex!" I shouted after her. After a while I was about to run in myself, when. The house exploded! I was thrown back. I got up, and stared, tears running down my face. "ALEX!!!!"
