Dragon Keep

Chapter two

        Lux woke up in her apartment and set up to check her clock. Ten fourteen she was late she got up and started to get ready to go to the guild. Grumbling about how she shouldn't have stayed up to finish that book even if it was the last one of the series. She placed the book back on one of her book shelves as she walked out the door. Her apartment was only a couple minutes walk away from the guild on the Main Street was along the canal that cut the city in half through the middle. The city had already come to life fisher men driving boats
Down the canal, the smells of different restaurants cooking for there first round of customers. She loved Cassum which was the small port city that held the Dragon Keep guild.

       " Hey Lux you're late." Her best friend Dawn called over to her from the guild hall doors her white hair braided.
        " Yeah, I know but I finished my series so worth it any ways where's Caleb we need to get going for the job?" Lux  asked.

       "Oh, he's just clearing the mission with master I was about to come get you." Dawn replied closing the door behind her.

     "No need I'm here, what job did you too decide on anyway?" Lux asked the taller girl.

      "Nothing big nice and simple job in Komidia, stop a local animal and human trafficking organization." Dawn said as the two large doors opened to reveal Caleb. He was tall strong built red eyes making him look like a hardened killer but he was the nicest of the three.
       "Master cleared the mission if we leave now will make it by lunch." Caleb said his brown and white wings appearing.
         "Wait can't we get breakfast first." Lux said holding her stomach.
" Here have this," Dawn said handing her a apple" it should be more than enough I mean you're so small." Starting to laugh at her own joke dawn called on her own angel like wings.
    "I'm not that short." Lux snapped back with her fairy like wings glowing a light orange. The trio shot off the group together with the speed given to guardians and started to head west towards Komidia. They enjoyed the flight summer had just started and the wind was almost nonexistent. The three flew through the clouds at a steady speed eating the miles between the two towns in only a couple of hours. After lunch the the trio went to see the mayor that had made the request.

     "Sir we are from Dragons Keep and we have accepted your job, is there any thing on this group you have for us we would appreciate the help." Dawn said smiling sweetly.
     
      "Unfortunately we have almost no information on this group is very secretive, the worst part is they're are know to kill any witnesses."
  
      " That's horrible, we will put an end to them soon enough mayor just leave it to us." Dawn said just before the three headed out. The rest of the day was spent taking down the group bit by bit but they could never manage to find the head he was never there once they arrived . So the three ended up staying in a hotel to start again in the morning.
