Over the week lux managed to turn Calum into a full fledged guardian. If she was honest with her self he had made unnaturally quick progress he had amazing reflexes and natural fighting instincts. Living on his own had given him a lot of strength not to mention guardians naturally were almost super humanly strong. The most surprising thing might have been his seemingly limitless amount of energy. After a full week of training he hadn't complained once about any of it. He was always smiling which showed of his teeth which were just a bit too sharp. Then there was his eyes which were the only serious part about him deep green with flecks of black like the deep forest.

When they hadn't been training they were hanging out at the guild or in Luxes apartment with Dawn and Caleb. The four had become close friends Calum being accepted into the group quickly even with the constant teasing by Dawn about staying at Luxes.

Lux ran up to Calum who had just sat down to eat  shoved the mission flyer into his hands then grabbing some of his try's while he read about the job.

" Alright so we deliver this rare artifact to the museum in Draco and we get twenty thousand Klink and to be party of there summer festival." Calum said still looking at the paper." Where even is Draco anyway I've never heard about it?" He asked looking back up at lux.

"Man you really do have dragon scales for brains Draco is the intellectual capital in the world they say that it used to be a dragon nesting grounds but something happened and the land was completely flattened when it had Been a large forest.  Oh and it's near the center near the center of the country about a two three day flight if we go at a good pace." She said.

" Wait there can be dragons sweet we need to take this mission I'll meet you back here I one hour be ready okay little fairy." He said then he shoved the rest of his fries in this moth and ran off towards the apartment. Leaving lux sitting there for a moment before she got up and followed him.

" Idiot already for got that that we live together and he called me fairy again ugh stupid dragon boy." She muttered to her self  running a hand through her brown hair as she walked towards her apartment.

After an hour they were both standing in front of the guild hall ready for the mission. They both had special bags the strapped around their lower back so they had full range of movement with there wings. They took of at the same time climbing until the reached just below the clouds before taking of reorder the west way from the ocean. They flew for around five hours before night started to set in so they made camp by a small pond they had seen from air.

"So Lux I heard that you know some of the fey what are they like?" Calum asked suiting down next to her by the fire. He also handed her one of the cooked fishes he'd caught in the lake.

"Well it's kinda like you and storm but I was given to the fey by my parents. To be honest I don't know why they gave me up but it worked out pretty well in the end. After a couple of years I left to go join a guild which is how I found Dragon ms keep and the rest is history so I won't go into it." Lux finished her story and laid down on her sleeping bag." We made better time than I thought so we should make it there by sun set tomorrow." She said as Calum threw dirt on the fire and laid down himself.

" Alright that sounds good get to sleep." He said falling asleep.

They awoke the next morning and packed up their things before flying out again. After a couple hours of flying the came to the edge of the forest and entered the plains. Soon after a large shadow appeared over them. Then the slit apart as a giant hawk like bird with a long beak that sparked with lightning.
