Dragon Keep

Chapter four

      "Lux what is the meaning of this." Master Changa yelled pointing at Calum's unconscious body.

        "I'll explained in a minute just get him to the infirmary fast." Lux replied as Caleb lifted the stretcher with help from Dawn and walked off to the infirmary. Lux followed the master to his office where she explained the mission and why they had brought him to the guild.

         "I understand now why you brought him here something like that needs to be in check if the wrong hands managed to get w hold of him I can't bear to think what would happen. However he is your responsibility keep him in check.

        "Changa said from behind his desk. He was a large man dark skin with scars here and there showing his many years as a guardianZIt was when they had went out side that the boss ran down the stairs a sword in his right hand. Time slowed down as Calum stood up some kind of power went off inside of him making his wings appear and his eyes become the color of blue fire. Looking more Like a monster than a man he raised his hand and grabbed the sword which absorbed into the gauntlet that had appeared on his hand. The man started to stumble away but Calum stepped towards him and punched the man in the chest sending him flying into the wall. Then the power left and Calum dropped to the floor as his eyes slid shut. The three of the carried him out side and set him on the improvised stretcher before their wings appeared and the trio set of to the guild with calm being held between them.

        "That won't be a problem, thank you for understanding I'll be off now." Lux said walking out the door and heading towards the infirmary. She saw Dawn running towards

      "Lux he woke up come on he's refusing to talk to anyone but you ." She said before taking off again this time with Lux in tow behind. When they got to the infirmary Calum was sitting up here n his bed dark brown eyes alert.

     "where am I." He asked.

         "You are in the dragons keep infirmary I'm lux if you feel up to it I'd like to take you to speak with the master, but you should change first.

         "Lux said handing him the clothes Dawn had given her right before she went in. She walked out of the room and waited. Not long after Calum walked out and for the first time lux actually saw him not covered in blood or passed out. Shaggy black hair that stopped just above his eyes he was a lot taller than her. He was in a black t-shirt with the Dragons Keep symbol on the front and black jeans.

       "follow me I'll take you the master office." She said before turning and walking back to the office. dawn and Calum following behind her. Dawn was the first to start talking," I'm surprised you're already awake Calum figured you'd be out for a while." She said walking next to him.

       "Yeah I'm kinda surprised myself to be honest." He said a small smile showing off sharp k-nines. The three slipped into silence after that. They walked into the office together.

      "You're here, good I'd like to speak with you." The master said from behind his desk.

         "I have something to tell you as well, in private." Calum said the smile that had been on his face melting away.

       "Very, well Lux Dawn can you wait outside for a bit." Master said gesturing to the door.

      "Yeah, we can." Lux said grabbing Dawn. She sat down against the wall to wait. Dawn was sitting with her ear to the door.

       "What do you think they're talking about?" Dawn asked. Lux just shrugged before closing her eyes again. When they opened again the door was opened and Dawn was laying face first on the floor. Master Changa just shook his head before he turned to talk to Lux.

        "Can You get Calum organized as a new member for me?" He asked.

       "Yeah, sure just follow me." She said standing up and leading Calum away. When they were both gone Dawn turned to the master

       "Why did you have Lux show him around that usually Mary's job?" she asked him.

        "He asked for her and I couldn't bring myself to deny him boys had a rough life and he gave me somethings to think about."
Dawn was going to ask more but Changa had already shut his door.
