Harry woke up and felt a strange weight on his chest that he didn't remember being there the night before. He opened his eyes to see a huge bush of brown hair and it all came rushing back to him. Hermione had snuck into his room the previous night, and attempted to tickle him, but much to her disappointment he isn't ticklish. She had then told him how she felt cold in her own bed and wanted to sleep in his bed that night. He smiled down at his girlfriend as she began to stir.
"Wha- How long have you been staring at me for?" she asked exasperatedly.
"Long enough for me to realise how beautiful you are even with a bedhead - so 2 seconds." He said with a smile.
She rolled her eyes. "I look like a hedgehog trapped in tumbleweed." she said, pulling back the covers and getting up.
"Where are you going?" Harry asked.
"I'm going to shower and then maybe throw three bottles of conditioner into this." she said pointing to her hair.
"If you say so." Harry said with a laugh, getting up to shower as well.

"Harry! Hermione! Breakfast!" came the call from downstairs.
"Race you down?" Harry suggested.
"Harry! That's dangerous!" Hermione protested
"Come on! Please!" Harry pleaded.
"Fine." Hermione said with a mischievous smile.
And together they scrambled down the stairs, both trying to get ahead of the other, until they crashed into the kitchen and fell on top of each other, laughing. Emma started to laugh as well, and started laying the table while they got up.
"I still won." Harry said, dusting himself off.
"Nonsense! I definitely won." Hermione retorted.
"Stop bickering, you two and sit down." Emma said, chuckling.
"Ooh, Waffles! Your favourite." Hermione said remembering what Harry had asked Dobby for that night they went to the kitchens.
"Yum!" Harry said, his eyes lighting up.
As they both started eating, Emma began laughing again. "Well, that shut you two up!" she said, smiling wickedly.

It was 10:20. They all sat around the TV, halfway through "The Lady and The Tramp" (Hermione had insisted as it wasn't quite Christmas yet, and because Harry hadn't seen this movie yet). But Harry wasn't concentrating on the movie, he was concentrating on Hermione, curled up against him. He stared at the TV screen, not watching, when he felt Hermione moving.
"You're not really watching are you?" she whispered to him.
Harry shook his head ever-so-slightly.
"You have that same distant look you always had in Umbrige's lessons; complete and utter disinterest. What's bothering you?" Hermione whispered.
"Nothing, I just wasn't interested in the movie with you sitting there." he smiled.
Hermione rolled her eyes at him. "Well you'd better start concentrating; I'm giving you a test about the events of this movie later." she smirked.
"Wha- but, we're not even at school and I'm getting tests! Absolutely not!" he said.
"Fine, but I'm still gonna ask you about what briefly happens so stop ogling me and start watching." she said, turning back to the movie.
Harry laughed softly and turned to the movie as well, and started to properly watch. What a coincidence, he thought. That Hermione told me about this very scene after we unknowingly re-enacted it. And now we're watching it! It was indeed the exact scene that happened between themselves in the Hogwarts kitchens a few nights before. He nudged Hermione as if to say Remember?
