My First Love

Chapter 4

Jewels POV.
I walked into my house and was immediately greeted by Kaiden. He had put whatever berries he had left in a bowl and brought them over to me.

"I saved some for you," he said handing me the bowl.

"Why thank you," I said and he smiled.

"I drew a picture while you were gone wanna see?" He asked.

"I'd love to," I said and he grabbed my hand dragging me over to the kitchen.

On the counter was a picture of us picking berries together. It was so cute.

"See here's me and that's you," he said looking up at me with a huge grin that showed he was really proud of his drawing and he should be.

"I love it! Should we put it on the fridge?" I asked and he ran over to the fridge and grabbed a magnet. He handed me the magnet and I stuck it on the fridge.

"Hey so me and Tyler are planning on taking a little walk in the forest. I was thinking that we would go to the waterfall.Would you like to come?" I asked him.

"Ya I want to," he said and got all excited. I took a look at the clock it said 5:00pm.

"Ok how about while I'm making dinner you go and get a back pack ready. Pack your swimsuit,water shoes, and your towel." I told him.

"Ok ya!" He said hopping off of his chair and running up the stairs.

"Silly boy," I said quietly to myself.

Now what should I make for dinner? I took a look in one of our old family cook books and found a homemade spaghetti recipe. That's what I'll make.

I went around the kitchen grabbing all of the ingridients. I took some noodles and cooked them then I made the sauce. We had a special recipe for this.

Just then Kaiden came running down the stairs yelling "I smell spaghetti, yay!"

This was one of his favorite meals that my mom would make for our family.

"Is it done?" He asked anxiously.

"Just about how about you get us both plates and forks," I said finishing dinner.

"All done," he said.

"Ok. Now will you grab the Parmesan cheese," I asked.

"Already done," he said pointing to it on the table.

I went and placed the pot on the hot pad. It looked great. I sat next to Kaiden so that I could help in since he always makes a mess when he tries scooping it out.

We ate our food and takes abut the day. After we were done eating we put the dishes in the sink and cleaned up the table.

I took a look at the clock it was 6:30pm.
We had just enough time to watch a movie.

"Ok we can watch a movie if you want," I said to him and he got excited.

"Ya lets watch big hero 6" he said and ran to go out it in. The usual. Big hero six was his favorite whenever we watched a movie it was that.

"Ok I'll pop some popcorn," I said heading to the kitchen pantry. I grabbed a bag and popped it.

I came into the room and he had the movie in ready to go with a blanket on the couch. I placed the popcorn on the coffee table and took a seat.

Kaiden came over and curled up under the blanket next to me. We played the movie and I started to fall asleep when my head fell I woke back up to see the movie still playing but Kaiden was fast asleep at my side.
