My First Love

Chapter 2

Jewel's POV.
The summer was almost over. School would start next week so like a normal high schooler I was sitting in my room trying to figure out what to do for the last week. Most down in this town would all go down to the beach or to the mall. Most girls would be sitting at home and watching a movie with their boyfriends snuggling up and having a good time. But me, well I was sitting and doing nothing. At first I was reading then I turned on the tv for some background noise. I reached for my phone to text the girls but then I remember they had gone out of town for the last week of summer. I put my phone on my night stand that was next to my bed. I opened one of the drawers and found a notebook with some pencils. "Might as well" I thought to myself. As I was opening the book I heard a car pull in to the driveway next door and then I saw a handsome guy get out, shut the door and run inside the house. The next thing I knew my little brother Kaiden came in screaming "We have new nieghbors,we have new nieghbors!!!"

"Oh? I didn't notice." I said jokingly.we do t usually have a lot of people move down here and there hadn't been anyone in that house for about a year so this was pretty exciting for him. Kaiden was also seven years old so he got excited about quite a lot.

"Can we go meet them please," he begged me.

"Fine but only for a little bit sure they have a lot of unpacking to do," I said to him shewing him off.

He took off down the stairs yelling "come one Jewel hurry up!"

"Alright alright I'm coming," I yelled to him but he was already out the door.

I went over to my dresser and grabbed a pair of black jeans. Then I went to my closet and grabbed a shirt that was navy blue and had a big yellow 'W' on it. I threw on some black tennis shoes and ran down the stairs then out the door. Like usual my brother was already talking to the new neighbors. He didn't worry about anything.

"Hi, welcome to the town," I said walking up to them. The man out out his hand for me to shake. As I shook the mans hand he said "Your brother was just telling us a little bit about you guys."

"Oh he was," I said looking down at him.

"Don't worry all good things," the women said with a smile. Just them that boy that excitedly ran up to the house came out and stood by his mother.

"Hi," he said outing out his had for us to shake. My brother shook it and then me.

"Well we better get going so that you guys can get all settled in, if you need any help feel free to ask and welcome to the nieghborhood," I said as I grabbed Kaiden's hand and started to walk away.

"Wait would you like to have dinner with us at 6:00?" The mother asked. Wierd isn't it the other way around we ask them. Whatever.

"Sure we would love to," I responded and with that we walked back to the house.

Once we were in the house I went up to my room and looked out the window. The parents had left to go start unpacking already but the guy was looking up at my window. I never got to learn his name. 'Dang it'. Just then I heard someone yell "Come on Tyler,we can't do this all by ourselves," with that he turned away and headed towards the moving truck to pick up boxes. 'Tyler' I like it.

Just before dinner
The clock read 5:00pm. Sweet I have an hour to get ready. I hurried and took a shower when's was done I went to my closet and put on a white dress that went about mid thigh then I went over to my dresser ms grabbed a brown belt and threw that around my waist then put on a sleeveless Jean jacket and threw on some brown sandles to add the finishing touch a grabbed out brown purse. After I was done getting dressed I went and curled my hair. Once I was done getting ready j went to check on Kaiden.
