Dani felt numb. She had gotten up, seeing iron bars closing her into the room. Must. Escape. Dani threw herself into the bars, hearing a small gasp. To unfamiliar figures stood out of the cage, communicating to each other. The smaller of the two went to the entrance, trying to say something to her. She growled in response as a warning. The figure did so again. Dani ran to the entrance, trying to make a meal out of it. It jumped back. They shouted something to her. A bigger one rushed out of nowhere and shouted. They tossed a glove into the cell before opening it. The smell was so... Strange. I ran, my paws barely touching the ground. I smelled the essence of the scent. I turned corners into an empty room, except for a canine creature I recognized as my own. My... Kin. 'Circle Iris?" The creature shook its head in response. 'Circle Eclipse. Rank Warrior, Name 13 and three halves." I looked at them, searching for their circle's signature. There it was, etched into it's flank, a Eclipse with a single line through it. "Circle Cresent, Rank Lone Name Sodalite." Zircon nodded, and motioned for me to follow. I did so as he lead me through the night. He crossed the river and into the Cave of Bones. He shifted a bone over, knocking the rest into the hole. He jumped into it as I followed.
I woke up wearily. There was a gash above my eye. "Welcome back into our ranks, Sodalite." A very familiar voice said. I looked up. "Agate!" I ran to the man and hugged him as if I would never let go. I was back in the circle. "His purple eyes grew soft. "Onyx has passed while you were gone. However, Her young Chrysophase and Chrysolite have been told of your presence. They are dying to meet you. I hesitated. " Am I back in, Agate? Would they take me back? Would Malachite and Tourmaline even remember me?" Agate looked at me. "The whole circle wishes you back. They found that Obsidian killed Carnelian, however. They said you would be renamed. " Agate said. I sighed. "Bring me back, Brethren." Agate grabbed my hand and ran out of the shallow Cave into the white grassed forest. The tress were purple as were the bushes. I felt as if I was home. The thirteen stones aligned the entrance. I walked into my childhood home. All animals shifted back into their form into familiar faces. Malachite was held back by Chalcedony. I smiled at her. Diamond glared at me from above. "Welcome back. It is time." Agate released my hand as Diamond pulled me into the rock."Raise your former stone." She said. I raised the Sodalite in my hand. "Repeat after ms. 'I, Former Sodalite will promise to be renamed and be known truly as that stone. I will follow my code, and never betray." "I, Former Sodalite do promise to be renamed and truly be known as that stone. I will follow my code and never betray." Diamond smiled at me, and placed a new stone into my hand. I unfolded it, revealing a dark Hematite. "I name you Hematite in the the Warrior name. May your days pass by quick. "
"Hematite."
