(A/N: Just a quick note that this story talks about suicide. I have gone through and still battling depression. I write Lilly as if she was me. Please don't read if the subject of depression or suicide affects you in anyway. Sorry.)
*Lilly's P.O.V*
I could hear their voices in my head on a constant repeat. I couldn't take it anymore. That's why I came out here. I came to get away. I came to think, but above all else I came to take my life from this godforsaken world. I could feel tears run down my face as I looked out over the bright lights of New York City. I was tired of having to deal with my mother's drunken and drug induced life. My father leaving because he cheated on my mom. The only person who cared was my cousin and she was on tour with her band right now. I looked up at the stars and sighed. My only friends in the entire world and they always leave me when the sun comes up. I stepped up on the ledge and closed my eyes. The wind was blowing lightly through my hair and it felt really nice. I was about to take a step when I felt two pairs of arms around me and pulled me off. The saviors wrapped me in their arms and I started sobbing into their shirt. "It's okay," said one of them and the other calmly shushed me. We walked from the roof all the way to my apartment downstairs and I sat on the couch crying until I fell asleep." I woke up the next morning to find a heavenly scent floating around the space. I sat up and groaned. My throat was dry and I had a major headache. I could see my friends Sarah and Kate in the kitchen talking and sipping on their mugs of coffee. I got up slowly and stretched before shuffling over to them. They stopped talking when I got near and placed fake smiles on. "Good Morning Sunshine," said Sarah. I grunted in response and picked up a premade plate and sat down at the table. "The two girls walked over to me and sat down on either side of my arms. "Tell her," whispered Kate. "No you tell her," replied Sarah. I sighed, not in the mood to be messed with. "Tell me what?" Sarah looked at me then started twirling a piece of her hair in between her fingers. She did this as her nervous habit. I looked at her impatiently. "Well?" Sarah was about to open her mouth when Kate blurted out, "We called your mom." I glared at Kate. "You did what?" Katie gave you a small smile and looked down at her hands. "We were worried so we had to call someone," explained Sarah. "Or you could have left me alone and not call anyone," I yelled. I got up from the table and went to my room and slammed the door behind me. I sat on my bed and stared at the floor, anger taking over. I went into my drawer and searched for my blades but I could find them anywhere. I tore apart my room and my bathroom and couldn't find any of them. I let out a small scream and punched the mirror in my bathroom. I looked at my broken reflection. What a great irony to my life. I heard a knock on my bedroom door and stood up and walked calmly over to the door. I opened it and my frown deepened on my face. "Hello, Mother."
