Chapter Seventeen

[Two Months Later]

*Lilly's P.O.V*
I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear. I groaned as I forced my eyes open and switched it off. I sat up in bed and looked around my dark room. It's been two months since I ran from Korea to come back home. I had to move twice in that short span because Jack always seemed to find me. I rolled out of bed and went into the bathroom to get ready for work. I came out and got dressed quickly and grabbed something to eat on my way out the door. I was working as a sound engineer for a small time record label. It's not something I wanted to do but it made money and I couldn't complain much. I huddled my jacket closer to me as a fierce wind blew through the streets of NYC. I pushed my way through the crowds of loud, talkative, rushed people on their way to God knows where. I made my way inside the small ran down building. It was warm even through the small cracks in the foundation. I got to my studio and closed the door behind me. I took out my cell phone and noticed I had a lot of unread messages. A majority of them were from Dae. I couldn't bring myself to answer them or even read them for that matter. I skipped over those messages and found a few from Sammy. They were just generic messages asking if I needed anything. I replied saying that I was fine and dove myself into my work. It was going to be a long day like usual.
*Daesung's P.O.V*
I had sent her several messages through the two months she has been gone. She replied to none of them. I either was at work or at home during our separation. I would reread her note before I fell asleep and when I woke up. I stopped going out with the guys, and if I was with them I kept to myself. I knew that they were worrying for me, but I didn't care. My heart was broken and I didn't know how to mend it. I was sitting in the studio with Seungri and Taeyang when the door opened and that annoying man Jack entered the room. He had a smug smile on his face like he always did whenever he was around us. "Hey guys." I ignored him. "I wanted to let you guys known at their will be a new girl group coming to YG and I expect you guys to be there to greet them." I simply nodded my head refusing to look at him. I suspected he had a reason to do with Lilly leaving, but I couldn't figure it out. Just then TOP and Sammy walked through the door and I saw her stiffen at the sight of Jack. He gave her a warm smile before winking and then leaving with a final, "Goodbye," before leaving the room. Everyone was staring at Sammy as she glared at Jack as he left. "What was that about," asked TOP. She looked at him with a surprised expression and then looked at Tae, me, and Seungri. She shook her head, "Nothing. It's nothing." She excused herself and walked out of the room pulling out her cellphone in the process. I got up to follow her out making an excuse about going to the bathroom. I followed her into the stairwell and just before she hit the second flight I grabbed her shoulder. "What the hell!" I spun her around and her face relaxed as she saw that it was me. "Tell me now," I whispered. She looked at me in confusion, "I don't know what you are talking about." I narrowed my eyes, "Bullshit." She let out a sigh and looked around. "Fine, but later. I can't tell you here." I nodded my head, "The dorms, Nine o'clock." She nodded her head and made her way out the door. I leaned against the wall and let out a long sigh. Finally. I can learn the things I need to learn about why Lilly left me without a reasonable explanation. I needed to know. I made my way to the lobby and left to head to the dorms. The guys would understand. I walked there lost in my own thoughts until someone bumped into me.
