Chapter Thirteen

[Two Weeks Later]
*Daesung's P.O.V*
Is was on my way back to my apartment from the funeral for the motorcyclist. The family glared at me the entire time so I kept my head down. I stared out the car window as my manager drove me home. We reached my apartment and I got out thanking him quietly. I made my way up the stairs and entered my apartment. I was suddenly startled when a small figure jumped out of nowhere and gave me a hug. It took me a second to process everything, but eventually I wrapped my arms around the familiar person. I could feel tears forming up in my eyes. She looked up at me and I stared down at her. She wiped a tear away that escaped from my eye. "Come on." She lead me to the kitchen and sat me down at the table. She walked away into the kitchen. I loosened my tie and laid it on the table. I sat there with my head in my hands until I felt a familiar touch on my back. I looked up to find Lilly holding a trey full of junk food and a box collection of Doraemon. I gave her a small smile and followed her to the tv in the living rooms and sat down on the couch. She placed the trey down and popped the first DVD into the player. She came and sat next to me and curled up into my side. I held her tightly to me. I knew she didn't like watching these things without subtitles. I could speak fluent Japanese while she could barely pass with Korean. I sat there getting absorbed into the show when I felt my phone vibrate. I sighed and took it out of my pocket. The caller id said Taeyang, so I gave Lilly an apologetic smile and got up to take the call.
"Hey man."
"Hey Youngbae. What's wrong?"
"Nothing I'm just reminding you about the recording session later on today."
"Shit. I forgot all about that." I slapped my hand to my forehead.
"You don't have to come if you don't want to."
I let out a small sigh, "No, I'll come. It's just....I don't want to leave Lilly by herself here."
"Gotcha. Just bring her along. I'm pretty sure GD won't get mad."
"I'll ask her if she wants to come. I'll be there later on. Just let me change."
"Alright. See you later."
"Bye." I hung up the phone and walked back into the living room. Lilly looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes. "What's wrong," she asked. "I have to go into the recording studio. I was wondering if you wanted to tag along with me." She nodded her head and I gave her a small smile. I went to my room to change into a shirt and jeans. I grabbed my car keys and then remembered that my licenses was suspended. I threw my keys on the bed in anger. I slammed my fist into the wall. Lilly rushed in and hugged my back while a rage full of anger shot through me. I could feel myself trembling. I tried to push her off of me but she remained firmly on my back. I hit the wall again, but she stayed right there on my back. She turned me around and I slid down the wall bringing her down with me. I started sobbing uncontrollably. She held me in her arms and rocked me. I laid my head on her chest and sobbed quietly. She rubbed small circles around my back and it was comforting. I could feel myself calming down. "Thank you." She leaned down and gave me butterfly kisses all over my face. I caught her chin and gave her a kiss on her lips. I bit her bottom lip but she refused. I pulled back and pouted. "You're such a tease." She smiled, "I know." She helped me up and wiped the tears off my cheeks. I gave her a small smile. Once I felt calm, we left the apartment and made our way outside. I hailed a cab and told him the address to YG. We sat in the cab and waited to reach the building. I held her hand the entire car ride. The cab dropped us off and I paid. We stood outside the building. My heart was racing. I haven't seen the guys in two weeks. The last time I saw them, I had punched GD in the face and walked away. The only person to contact me was Youngbae. I tightened my hand around Lilly's small one. She tilted my chin to have me face her. She gave me a reassuring smile and it made me feel better. "Come on," I said walking towards the door with her right next to me.
