michael, ashton, and calum were back at ash's house, all sitting on the floor, luke's journal in the middle of them.
ashton pushed it towards calum, "i saw your name, you read this one."
"o-okay.." calum trailed off, carefully picking up the notebook, so that he wouldn't damage the only thing they had left of their friend.
he started reading

nothing interesting happened today...aside from me almost picking up a blade. i had it right in front of me, you know. i was almost touching it. i could feel the coolness of the metal on my fingertips. i was about to pick it up.
that was when calum texted me 'wanna go see a movie with the boys and i?' is what he said.
it brought me out of my trance...back to reality.
'sure' is what i said
'we'll be over to pick you up in five minutes' he told me.
i shut off my phone and put it in my back pocket, then hid the blade under a random paper so that i wouldn't see it.
they got to my house in about 8 minutes.
we went so see some action movie....i don't remember the name of it...it wasn't really my type.
anyway, i ought to sleep, it's after 1 am....

calum stopped reading and looked at the two boys. michael had been quiet the whole time, barely even making any noise when he breathed. ashton had been staring at his wall, but breathing loudly.
"that....that was from a few years ago. calum, we only found out about luke cutting a few months before he...." ash muttered, not even finishing.
calum nodded as he looked over at michael, who looked like he was going to be sick.
"i-i, uh, i need to go," he said quickly, standing up and running out of ashton's room, then soon out of the house, headed to his.
