White ceiling
Smell of something
Greet me in the morningMy body hurts from such pain
The knowledge of knowing I'm in the hospital is what I gain
My eyes keep on wanderin'
Searching for something rather someone certainLaying peacefully on my side,
Her hair hidden the beauty inside
I tuck it carefully on the back of her ear, trying not to wake her up
But I didn't succeed as she slowly open her eyes as I meet those colorful orbs sending such chill in my spineShe came rattling and eagerly wanted to catch my hand
I hold it instead and say her name with so much love, "Sapphire."I heard her breathe out a sigh, as if there was an lungful of oxygen suffocating her inside.
"W-what h-happened?" She ask with a shaky voice.
I know any moment, a salt liquid will slid down in her cheeks.
And that thought gave me an ache, much ache than to what my body feels right now."Sorry." That one word is all I can say.
"Sorry, too."
Five letters, one word. Short yet heartbreaking.
And what's more painful is I know what she meant.
Sorry.
