Chapter 9 Yangs Birthday Dial B for Boom

The next morning Hong is cooking when he hears shuffling coming from the fourth room. "Well I might as well set up food for four teams" Hong says setting out more plates and another skillet. There door opens and Hong looks over to see Team HONR. "Oh... um ... hi sorry about yesterday."

"It's alright I chose to fight you and it is healing nicely. What smells so good?"

"Chef Hong's super pile of uber food." Nora says charging in.

"What the hell is that!?" Orna says

"That is a free range Nora very dangerous very noisy watch yourselves." Ren says walking in.

"So you guys going to stay for food?"

"No thanks we eat with Himari she does not like people." They leave

Everyone else walks in except Yang which scares her teammates."It's not like Yang to be late for food." Ruby says nervously shifting her food around.

"Relax sweety it usually means she is trying to plan something."Weiss says

"Hey Ruby what day is it today?" Hong asks

"The 25th wh... oh yeah." Ruby grins but then Cardin walks over.

"Oh look at this the weird eight have become twelve but wait one's gone. What's the matter red did your sister finally have the sense to jump out a window?"

"I don't know Cardin did your mom have the sense to disown you yet?" Ruby asks

"That's a burn and a half." Hong says with a chuckle.

"Why you little bitch." He goes to hit Ruby but he is instantly stopped by Weiss tapping him with an ice crystal.

"Listen hear you piece of shit. One you do not make fun of my friends. Two you don't crack jokes about my missing teammates. Number three you never ever EVER try to hit my girlfriend. Now then Hong if you would please."

"Gladly, everyone hold onto your shit." He says as he unfurls his wings. Everyone around sees this and instantly grabs everything they have. Hong sees that everyone that matters to him has a hold of there stuff so he unfurls his wings and causes a thunder clap of wind by bringing them together Cardin then slides over to the waiting detention bot.

"Sir you are in violation of rule seventy four dash e you are not allowed to attack other students outside of the training grounds Mr. Winchester this is your 20th offense one more and you will be suspended and you now have 5 weeks detention."

"Weiss calm your aura it looks like Nora on a sugar high." Hong says.

"Alright." She breathes in and out slowly for a little bit. "Thanks for the assist Hong."

"Anytime Weiss plus the dude seemed like quite the douche really."

"He makes me want to break his legs!' Nora yells.

Just then there is a crash and everyone looks up to see something small and cylindrical come crashing through a window and land in front of everyone.

"Paint bomb!" Hong yells everyone ducks under the table as it explodes into yellow paint. Then they hear a thud onto the table.

"All right you ninnys stand up!" Yang orders from above them. They all tentatively get up "Alright my friends as you know today is my twenty first birthday." Clapping and cheering comes from the group. "My plan is this, I have permission from Professor Ozpin himself mind you, to get us all out of class for a free for all paint ball war. I've loaded your starting locations onto your scrolls so get there load up and when you are ready type out ready or some such thing and I will explain how it works."

Hong gets there to see a vast array of paintball weapons he grabs an assault rifle and two pistols and then messages that he is ready. Everyone else sends out a message and then Yang explains that there is a height restriction of 100 feet and your goal is to shoot everyone every time you tag somebody or you get hit you will have to return to your base you can not get shot or shoot from your base within a ten foot radius now let the match begin. Hong walks out of his base into the beacon corridors and keeps an eye out for any of the participants all of a sudden he hears a yell and sees Nora charging at him two shotguns in hand. He jumps over her as she shoots he then whips around pistol in hand and shoots her in the face. "Nice shot Hong." She goes skipping away with a sign that says recently shot. Hong goes back to his base and taps Nora's picture. He goes back out and decides to use the vaulted halls to his advantage he flies up and goes over everyone all the while he is keeping an eye out all of a sudden he hears a squelch and feels paint appear on his forehead.

"I'm sorry." Pyrrha says as she runs. He heads back to his base and then heads out to the main courtyard seeing red paint splotches all around.

"Where are you red?" All of a sudden he sees a few small red darts coming his way he jumps to the side and looks around he sees Ruby up on a roof Sniper Rifle in hand. "Figures" He unfurls his wings and goes zooming towards Ruby dodging her shots as he goes. "Have fun" He says placing a paint bomb on her.

"What ... oh shi..." She explodes into blue paint.

Hong starts heading for the lake and he sees Blake sitting there calmly. "Probably a shadow clone." He looks around. "There you are Blake." He sneaks up below her and looks up. "I can see one of the reasons Yang is dating you." She glares down meanwhile Hong just shoots up and hits her in between the eyes.

~Half an hour later~

Hong has tagged everyone except Yang "Where are you Xiao Long?" all of a sudden he hears a blast and he dives out of the way of a spray of yellow paint.

"Right here mon ami."

"What took you so long have a quickie with Blake?"

"Yes but that is beside the point lettuce dance." She says throwing a head of lettuce at him.

"Screw you and your puns." Dodging the lettuce and the following shot he then goes shooting towards Yang a paint ball in hand. "Game over Yang."

"For you." She says pulling out a pistol and shooting him right between the eyes.

Hong pulls up and lands. "Nicely done Yang." Everyone comes over congratulating on styles and how well they did.
