Chapter 17 In Court

"Court is now in session all rise for Judge Ozpin." The bailiff calls.

"Alright be seated Mr. Stern let's get this over with why did you attack Cardin and his team?"

"Simple they said that they were going to teach Peridot a lesson and I at least the wa I am now would not have killed them."

"What do you mean by the way you are now."

"As you know sir my friends and I are very protective of each other."

"Objection! Your honor is not allowed to know the defendant."

"The law of bygones states that so long as the judge is unbiased he or she can judge any and all cases." Olivia says with a smirk.

"As I was saying if one of them gets into a life or death situation that they can't get out of my aura and other abilities spike and I rampage afterwards I have no memory of it."

"How many times has this happened?"

"Twice."

"I see I don't think that Miss. Halupica was in any danger."

"Actually sir they had brass knuckles and steel toed boots and their auras were practically screaming with murderous intent."

"Do you have any proof?" Hong gestures to Olivia.

"If you will all direct your attention to the screen." Olivia starts up the video and they watch as Hong leaves and the waiter is talking into a walkie talkie "Mr. Winchester we have a faunus." A few seconds of silence followed by. "As brutally as possible."

The plaintiff shoots straight up "Objection your honor file footage could have been tampered with."

"Run it through the scanner." Ozpin says with a wave of his hand. A line of green passes by it and then it flashes blue. "Footage has not been tampered with now how do you explain your initial attack."

"Simple I was defending myself and Peridot and they had no right seeing as how Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna were able to make a law banning Faunus segregation."

"Alright court charges Hong with 500 lien in damages and all other charges are dropped court is adjourned."
