Chapter 1 - Late for school

It's Monday morning. The day when you just want to stay in bed and forget everything that's important. But I can't just do that because I have responsibilities. So I decide to get out of my bed and apparently I'm not the only one who decided that.

"Alaina! Wake up Alaina, your going to be late for school." Says Mollie.

Mollie and I are twins. She has brown hair and brown eyes. I have two other sisters, Claire and Alicia. Claire is 15 years old and is the youngest sister, she has blond hair and green eyes, she is kind of irresponsible. Alicia is 19 years old and have dark green eyes and brown hair. She is much older then the others of us and is the one who remember our parents the most... I almost forgot to tell you, our parents died when we where children in a car crash. I was just 4 years old when it happened but it was very hard for us all. Alicia is the person that takes care of us and is making sure we have food at our table. She works as a chef at a restaurant. She earns enough money for us to live on.

When I had came up from bed I walked down the stairs and as usual I heard how Mollie and Claire was arguing with each other. It sounded intense, more than usual.

"Why are you fighting?" I asked them. "Because Mollie's yelling at me of no reason!" When Mollie hears that she takes up a cigarette from Claire's handbag "Oh. So smoking is no reason you think? Because I think it's a very good reason!" After that, they started arguing again. Ugh, I just can't stand them arguing all the time. So I slammed my hand to the table and yelled "Shut up! Both of you. Mollie you should stop yelling at Claire all the time! And for you Claire, start taking some responsibility!" They both looked very chocked at me, even I was chocked actually, because I don't usually involve myself in they're argues.

After this, we where all sitting quietly eating our breakfast, no arguing with each other. It was actually nice when it was so quiet. It usually isn't but right now it was extremely quiet. After eating up my breakfast I go to the bathroom to get ready for school.

I look up in the mirror to see my face. I have skin that is so white it looks like paper, eyes blue as the sea, hair red as blood. I think I'll only use lipstick and some mascara today even if it is the end of the summer and I'm going back to my old class. I'm kind of nervous actually, but Alicia said it would be easy with the studying 2 days ago and I hope she's right.

"Alaina, are you done yet? I need to use the restroom." Says Mollie from outside the bathroom. "Can you please just wait a second? I need to pee." I walked directly to the toilet and sat down. "Okay then." I heard Mollie say from outside the bathroom.

When I was done I flushed the toilet, walked to the door and opened it. "You can have the bathroom now Mollie." I said. "Thanks sis!" She said and smiled at me, I smiled back. Claire came down from the upper level now. She picked up her handbag and opened the door, so I knew she was going to school. Before she walked out of the door I tried to tell her that I was sorry for that I got angry earlier when we ate breakfast and explained to her why I got angry.

"It's okay. I really don't care, because no one understands me anyway." She said before walking out of the door.

She sounded pretty mad. I didn't really understand what she meant with 'no one understands me' though.

Anyway I have to go to school so I walk to the kitchen looking up at the clock and see that the time is 08:50. "Oh no! I'm going to be late." I quickly pick up all of my stuff, like handbag and iPhone. I ran all the way to the bus and in the last second I got on the bus. "Phew" I said. An old women looked up at me "you are very lucky you didn't miss the buss young lady." She said. "Yeah" I said at the same time as I was laughing.

When we where at the school bus-stop I looked at my phone and saw that I was already late for school!
